Here is a BRIEF description of each of the tours:
uatour_newengland ( ) LOCAL here to Central Connecticut and directed by Marc Bayram, PGA ( ) - this is a youth golf league for boys and girls ages 6-18 of ALL skill levels. Leagues operate in the spring and summer. My favorite part? All kids pick up at triple bogey because this is a developmental tour.
LOCAL here to central CT, a new tour being operated by Pete Asadourian ( ) & Marc Bayram, PGA. What makes this tour different from the rest? It is being run by two CURRENT parents of junior golfers who are living and breathing examples of what it’s like to be a part of the junior golf process. It has been created to give COMPETITIVE junior golfers a place to grow through high level events in an enjoyable and energetic environment.
s.kidsgolf has local, state, national and global tours. There is one here in the Greater Hartford area directed by - tours are open to ages 5-14 and up to 15-18 at select local tours.
junior tour this is technically not a local tour to the Connecticut but I decided to include it because it is based in New England! It makes stops in MA, RI, NH, and other neighboring states. On the website I noticed they even have a Cape Cod | Maine Tour featured - perfect for families that spend their summers at the Cape ⛳️
JR tour offers a WIDE range of tournament opportunities depending on your junior golfer’s development and skill level. It has three levels of play: Developmental Tour (ages 8-15) Players Tour (ages 18 and under) Champions Tour (ages 18 and under) Tournaments run from June through end of August.
while this tour is not 100% local to CT I included it because it does make stops here and to neighboring states. They host some very cool qualifiers in CT to help juniors gain opportunities to some national events.
