It's time for BOWLING FOR BLACKFORD! This is a fundraiser for The Blackford High School Bowling Team. By doing this fundraiser in the past, every bowler has been able to bowl at no cost to them or their family.

Please consider putting a team together to bowl, no bowling skills needed, it's all for fun!

Maybe you just want to donate an item or items to be added to raffle baskets or donate your own raffle basket. Gift cards, spa items, sports items, candy baskets, pens, candles, anything you wish to donate would be awesome!

We will also be accepting lane sponsors. When you sponsor a lane, your name or business name will be scrolled across the screens during our bowling night, on every table and on social media platforms.

You could also just donate money. If this is what you would like to do, money can be dropped off at Northside Lanes. Checks can be made out to Blackford High School Bowling.

This year's team consists of Cody Jones, Peyton Kennedy, Izack Moore, Donovan Wilson, AJ Emenhiser, and Nick Cummings.

We will be selling raffle tickets for this incredibly beautiful, handmade wood flag. It measures 37.5in X 19.5in smd comrx ready to hang. This picture does not do it justice! Tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20. The drawing will be September 22 at Northside Lanes during the Bowling for Blackford fundraiser. Need not be present to win. It will be on display at Northsode Lanes if you would like to see it and purchase tickets. ALL PROCEEDS GO TO THE BLACKFORD HIGH SCHOOL BOWLING TEAM! Please share!

WE HAVE ADDED ANOTHER CHAPTER IN THE HISTORY BOOK FOR THE BLACKFORD HIGH SCHOOL BOWLING TEAM!!!!!!!!

Yesterday the young men of the Blackford High School Bowling Team WON SECTIONALS!

This is the first time in school history this has been done!

They advance to Regionals this weekend in Kokomo!

Hunter Cooper was runner up in Singles after bowling the stepladder. He threw the ball well but just didn't have the carry his opponent had.

Hunter Cooper and Cody Jones will advance to Refionals for singles competition. Hunter was the #1 qualifier and Cody was #8 qualifier.

All 7 of these young men finished in the top 25 of 50 bowlers!

Team members include Hunter Cooper, Donovan Wilson, Cody Cook, Cody Jones, Peyton Kennedy, Izack Moore, and Nick Cummings. Coaches Jeremy and Teresa Ferguson.

Blackford for the WIN with 1951 at Northside Lanes today! (This picture is from a previous win. The trophy wasn't present at today's meet but will soon be at Northside Lanes for anyone wanting to see it)

These young men bowled great today! Their spare shooting continues to improve! We coaches and parents are SO PROUD of their continued improvement....and wins!

Game 2 they bowled 1093! THAT IS CURRENTLY THE 5TH HIGHEST IN THE STATE!

This past Saturday brought 2nd place to the Blackford High School Bowling Team. (We are still leading the conference point wise!) There were A LOT of big games! So much great bowling!

Izack Moore got the 2nd place JV medal with his 184 game! This is a new high game for Izack!

These young men continue to improve each day. We are so proud of the progress they have made since they began bowling and we began coaching last year! Bowling can be a frustrating sport, especially when you are just learning, but these young men power through!

Saturday, December 10th we will be at home at Northside Lanes. Bowling starts at 2pm. Wish these young gentlemen luck!
