Today the Bombers played in the Buffalo Wild Wings classic we played today in memory of one of the Bomber Family and we won one for him as we defeated Brookings 12-0 only surrendering 1 hit. As we play this weekend we play for the memory of Josh hope we do him proud. Prayers go out to the Hohn family in this difficult time you are in our thoughts and prayers.

The Bomber family lost a real hero and a true fighter. Joshua Hohn and his family are great supporters of the Bombers and local softball teams. He was probably one of the most selfless and knowledgeable people I have ever met. In the face of adversity fighting his cancer he had a positive attitude and put up the most courageous fight and still wanted to make sure everyone else was in a better place because he was in it. He has put together a scholarship fund for youth softball players yes I know it’s softball but it was a cause he was passionate about so I urge anyone who sees this to support the cause. Happy July 4th weekend from your Bombers boys enjoy your friends, family, and fireworks. Bombers are back in action next weekend in Brookings for the Buffalo Wild Wings Classic hope to see you then.

The Bombers had a pretty good showing in the Yankton 1 day tournament going 1-1-1 first game was against the eventual tournament champ Madison Shamrocks the boys showed grit and ended in a tie 7-7 against a team we historically struggle against, then came back game 2 and beat a good Watertown team 7-6 we were in the toughest pool in the tournament and almost made it out losing out on tie breakers. Game 3 we had to sit around for almost 5 hours and we came out flat and ended up losing game 3. We did get to get together tonight for the Sioux Falls Miracle League and had a nice little surprise and had the Canaries players join us. This was a fun volunteering opportunity and would recommend it to all teams out there as they always need help. Now for a much needed weekend of before our final tournament of the year in Brookings for the Buffalo Wild Wings Classic.

This group of boys are starting to grow together and it’s fun to watch. Played in the Tiger Classic this weekend won game one then got smacked in the mouth game 2. The boys never quit and came out and layed it on on couple teams today. We ended up finishing runner up. On to the next one in Yankton next Saturday. Thanks for the support and Go Bombers.

A fun competitive weekend for the Bombers going 2-0 in pool play. We then had to face the Cyclones from Lincoln NE for the 2nd time and ended up losing 7-5 to go to the Championship. The rest of the tournament was cancelled due to weather so no other games were finished. Next up for the Bombers is the Harrisburg Classic June 20-21.

Bombers are in Action this weekend Saturday at Sanford Sports Complex Field 6 at 8am and 12pm come out and enjoy the weather.

Wow what a weekend for the Bombers we played in Omaha Diamonds are a Moms Best friend tournament, and it was a weekend to remember. We went to a Creighton game Friday night for team building, Saturday the moms coached pool play games got us 2-0 and the #1 seed. Saturday night team dinner we gave the boys Mother’s Day jerseys, hat, and socks ( Courtesy of Julie Roth Real estate and JR Designs). Sunday we won the first 2 games to put us in the Championship game where we ran out of steam and ended up losing to a good team from Omaha. A great weekend and showing for the boys thanks to all the parents and sponsors and Happy Mothers Day. Go Bombers!

Today was a little different look for the Bombers as the Moms had to coach the pool play games and I have to give credit where credit is due. The moms coached the boys to the top seed in bracket play going 2-0 on the day. We hope to carry that momentum through tomorrow and hope to meet our fellow Sioux Falls team in the Championship.

Last night we came to Omaha for Diamonds are a Moms Best Friend tournament we don’t play till 1:30 and 3:45. So we soaked in a Creighton Baseball game and got a really nice fireworks show after. The fun twist to this tournament is Moms Coach the pool play games so we get to see how much the boys have learned. Also Happy Birthday to Coach Brady and Coach Casey and Happy Mothers Day.
