Our Heat ladies recently took on Xtreeme Challenge, and WOW… what an experience!
These girls are used to competing on the softball field, but put them in the woods with obstacles they've never seen before? Different story! 😂
We climbed, crawled, balanced, strategized, got stuck, figured things out, encouraged each other, and laughed—a LOT.
What made the day so special was watching them realize that the same qualities that make a great softball team make a great team anywhere: Communication. Trust. Leadership. Problem-solving. Accountability.
These challenges couldn't be completed alone. Everyone had a role, and everyone had something to contribute.
That's what we want these girls to learn as they continue their journey with the Harrisburg Heat. You don't have to be the best player to make the biggest impact. Sometimes you lead. Sometimes you listen. Sometimes you encourage. Sometimes you simply trust your teammate.
We're not just building better softball players—we're building better teammates, leaders, and young women.
