The Generals is partnering with the Patriot Ice Center!!!

Patriot Ice Center and the Delaware Ducks have partnered with the Center Ice Generals to bring a rink-run in-house program to Patriot Ice Center! The Generals will practice/play at Patriot and teams may play games at other rinks to get a taste of travel hockey. The program is led by Level 4 & 5 coaches, Sean Cannon and Wayne Evans, who have close to 75 years of combined coaching experience.
The Generals will be run as an Instructional/Developmental program. It will grow the love of hockey while developing skills, confidence, and a competitive edge.
The mission of the Generals is to provide:
- A developmental and competitive level to prepare players for Scholastic and/or a Tier II Full Travel Program.
- Another step of player development for those exiting Learn to Play Hockey but need more prep for Scholastic or a Tier II Full Travel Hockey.
- A place for players:
• Who are later to the sport and ready to play ice hockey.
• Where ice hockey is not their main sport but still needs an organization that promotes competition in a recreational environment.
• Who are novice to experienced looking for a lesser financial/time commitment compared to a Tier II Full Travel Ice program.
Players that are registered or are going to register with a Tier II Full Travel AHF or DVHL Club team may NOT play for the Generals and vice versa. This is an Atlantic District USA Hockey Rule (AAHA 1 team 1-year rule). This rule does not apply to being able to play for Scholastic Programs.
USA Hockey membership is required and players are guaranteed to make a team or be placed in our Learn to Play hockey program until they are ready.
