Mount Marshall Trail Hiking

Great day of hiking. Started the hike at 8am and had to immediately climb 2,500 feet of elevation. Nothing I wasn't prepared for.

Once getting to the top, the views were amazing. A great way to take a break from everyday life and enjoy the beauty of nature.

The plan was to hike 8-9 miles on Saturday, camp for one night and then finish the last 6-7 miles the following monring.

After setting up camp, my friend started to panic and didn't think that he could camp in the woods. So we packed our stuff up and decided to finish the hike.

By the time we broke the camp up, it was 7pm and the storm was going to hit us at 8pm and the sun was setting at 8:37pm.

We finally got to our cars by 9:30pm.

Looking back, I was physically, mentally prepared and got all my gear appropriately packed. Unfortunately, sometimes things don't go according to the plan. So the best thing to do is to stay calm and find a solution.

Each dawn, the warrior rises, and braces for battle. Not against foes of flesh and blood, but against the unseen temptations of the world.

They may stumble, and fall, but giving up is not in their creed.

They know the journey is arduous, the battles fierce, but the reward of becoming the best version of themselves and inspiring others to do the same, is worth every struggle.

The magic number is 1.618 - a ratio of your shoulder to waist circumference. This symmetry isn't just visually appealing; it's a hallmark of health, strength, and high genetic quality.

Here's how to get there:
1️⃣ Build those shoulders! Exercises like shoulder presses and lateral raises are a great way to broaden your upper body.
2️⃣ Don't forget your lats! Achieve that 'V' by incorporating pull-ups and lat pulldowns into your routine.
3️⃣ Slim the waist. This doesn't mean hundreds of crunches. It's about overall body fat reduction—think balanced diet and consistent cardio.

Had around 130 g of carbs prior to this run and made all the difference. Kept a consistent pace going up to the overlook.

A total of 2,400 feet of elevation.

Beautiful day to be outside. Now to relax and refuel and repeat lol.
