We deliver consistent, high-quality events that develop players, strengthen community, and invest back into the game. Gettysburg Battleground Co****le, LLC (GBC) is a veteran-owned and operated co****le league deeply rooted in competition, camaraderie, and community. The league is well known in South Central PA, and our mission is to provide a premier co****le experience through seasonal leagues,

community events, and large-scale tournaments. Giving back to our community and supporting local causes has become a core part of our mission! We aim to bring people together through the game while supporting local businesses, veterans, and charitable causes. The Battleground is a Co****le League that is focused on growing the game by creating a family atmosphere for all co****le players from backyard beginners to professionals. This is The First of many leagues!!

IMPORTANT UPDATES FOR THIS SUNDAY’S HANOVER CHILI COOKOFF CO****LE TOURNAMENT!

We’re just a few days away, and this is shaping up to be an AWESOME day!

The weather looks like it may be the best we’ve ever had for the Cookoff. Live music, cold drinks, great food, FREE chili tasting all day, and a whole lot of co****le!

💰 IF WE HIT 50 TEAMS, I’M BUMPING THE GUARANTEED PAYOUT TO $2,000! 💰

So if you’ve been waiting to register, get it done! Now, a few important things everyone needs to know before Sunday:

✅ PLAYERS GET INTO THE COOKOFF FREE!
There is NO venue entry fee for co****le players.
However, ALL TEAMS MUST BE REGISTERED BEFORE SUNDAY. I’ll be printing a complete player roster that will be used at the gate for early entry. If you’re playing, get registered so your name is on that list!

⏰ PLAYER GATE OPENS AT 9:45 AM
There will be one designated entrance marked VIP / CO****LE PLAYERS ENTRANCE.
Once you’re inside, please stay near the co****le area while the event is getting set up. There will be quite a bit of vehicle traffic coming through before the general public gates open at 11:00 AM.

🪪 BRING YOUR ID!
Your name will be checked against the player roster at the gate.
This year, a 100% ID Check will be done, whether you are drinking or not. No exceptions.

🌞 CANOPIES & CHAIRS
Canopy space is limited and will be first come, first served. We should have room for roughly 8–10 canopies.
If you don’t get a spot, don’t sweat it. We have a pretty good group, and I’m sure people will share some shade.
Bring your own chair, though. Sharing those might be a little tougher. 😂

Great venue and a nice change of pace format with 8 games of Switcholio.

We've gotten a lot of questions about admission into the Hanover Chili Cookoff, so here's the good news...

All registered co****le players receive FREE admission into the Hanover Chilipalooza Cookoff.

Please note: This free admission is for co****le players only.
If you're bringing friends or family who are not playing in the tournament, they will still need to purchase event admission:
$12 in advance
$15 at the gate

To help make check-in quick and easy for everyone, please pre-register for the tournament ahead of time. Pre-registration lets us build our player roster in advance so we can get everyone checked in and on the courts faster.

Thanks for helping us keep things running smoothly. We can't wait to see everyone next Sunday for a great day of co****le, chili, and fun!

Sign of the Horse Brewery - Hanover Tonight for First Tuesday!

8 Games of Switcholio! No PPR!

Looking for a super chill night and a great group of folks? This venue is the perfect place for this format.

One of the best things about playing 8 games of Switcholio for total points is that it takes the pressure off PPR. You get to relax, have fun, play with different partners, and meet people you might not have played with otherwise. At the end of the day, it's about enjoying the game and building the community.

Come on out, enjoy some great food, have a Beer or two and have a great time throwing bags!

Tuesday is First Tuesday at Sign of the Horse Brewery - Hanoverr!

A super chill night and such a great group of folks. This venue is the perfect place for this format.

No matter what your experience level, come out for a fun, competitive evening with great people, great food, and cold drinks.

Thursday night at the Hanover Elks BPOE #763 was a little lighter than usual, but don't let that fool ya... we had some really good, competitive games all night.

We started with 4 games of rounders and then did a chip draw to pick partners for the tournament. This was our third week using this format, and it's been a blast. It mixes things up, gives everyone a chance to play with someone different, and adds a little extra excitement to blind draw nights.

Thanks to everyone who came out and made it another great night. We'll be back at it next week, and we'd love to see a few more faces join us!
