💻 Coaching | 🌟 Community | 📖 Simplicity

06/13/2026

One of the biggest surprises of owning a private practice wasn’t learning marketing, leadership, or business strategy.

It was realizing how lonely it can be.

There are decisions no one prepares you for.
Moments of doubt you don’t always talk about.
Seasons where you’re carrying the weight of your clients, your team, your vision, and your own life all at the same time.

That’s why I’m so passionate about creating community over competition.

Because the truth is, none of us were meant to do this work alone.

I’ve learned that some of the most valuable conversations happen with other practice owners who simply get it. The people who check in when things feel heavy. The people who celebrate your wins because they know what it took to get there. The people who remind you why you started when you’re tempted to quit.

Through coaching, my goal isn’t just to help women build successful practices.

It’s to help them build relationships, support systems, and community along the way.

Because a thriving practice is important.

But so is having people in your corner when the journey gets hard.

Community over competition.
Always. 🤍

This morning, I sat quietly in my office — worship music playing softly in the background, light coming through the windows, having one of those honest business/prayer meetings with God.

And suddenly it hit me:

I am sitting in what I once prayed for.

Back in 2015, this was the dream.
The office.
The practice.
The team.
The opportunities to help people heal.

What once felt impossible is now part of my everyday life.

And yet recently, my eyes had drifted toward everything that still needed to grow, improve, or change. The things we don’t have yet. The problems to solve. The next level.

But this morning God gently reminded me:
“Don’t become so focused on where you’re going that you forget to thank Me for where you are.”

Growth has a way of moving the finish line.
What once felt like a miracle can quietly become “normal” if we’re not careful.

But today, I just want to pause and remember:
This life is evidence of God’s faithfulness.

Not because everything is perfect.
Not because there’s nothing left to build.
But because He has carried me farther than I could have imagined back then.

Maybe you need this reminder too:
Take a moment to look around.

You may already be standing in prayers you once cried over.

Thank You, Jesus, for answered prayers I almost forgot were once dreams 🤍

This morning felt like a gift. 🤍

I made it back to my women’s Bible study after missing the past couple of weeks because life has been full and busy… and when I walked in, I was immediately reminded what a gift this community is.

These women — each one placed in my life so intentionally by God.

My dear friend Debi handed me a bracelet she made that simply says “listen.” A quiet reminder as I prepare to lead our women’s wellness conference in just a few short weeks.

Then my sweet friend Julie shared from Ephesians 3:14–21…
and I couldn’t help but smile, because just last night I felt the Lord prompting me to sit down and read Ephesians — but life interrupted before I had the chance.

And then, without me asking, this group of incredible women felt led to lay hands on me and pray over me — over the dream, the calling, and the path God has placed before me.

They had no idea…
but every single one of those moments was exactly what I needed.

God is so kind in the way He meets us —
through His Word,
through community,
through the quiet reminders that we are seen, known, and not walking this alone. đź©·

🚶‍♀️ 1,019 Miles of Obedience

One year ago, on the edge of a new year, I felt the Lord whisper:
“Walk with Me.”
Not just spiritually—but physically.

I didn’t fully understand it then.
I just knew I needed to be ready for where He was leading.

Consistency has never come easily for me.
Some days were peaceful.
Some days were heavy.
Some days I walked through clarity, and others through doubt, sadness, anger, processing, prayer, and quiet listening.

But I kept showing up.

365 days.
1,019 miles.
Steps taken in obedience—even when I didn’t feel motivated, strong, or certain.

This year reminded me that healing, growth, and preparation rarely happen in big leaps.
They happen through faithful, ordinary steps.
Through choosing presence over pressure.
Through movement that regulates the nervous system, clears the mind, and creates space to hear God again.

Walking became more than exercise.
It became a place of grounding.
A place of prayer.
A place of surrender.

As this year closes, I’m deeply grateful—and expectant.
If God asked me to walk, it’s because there’s somewhere He’s leading.

And as I step into this new year, I can say with confidence:
I’m ready.

If you’re ending this year tired, reflective, hopeful, or unsure—know this:
You don’t have to rush.
You don’t have to have it all figured out.
Sometimes the holiest thing you can do is take the next faithful step.

Here’s to walking with Him—into whatever comes next. 🕊️

✨ Big News from Nashville ✨

I’m currently on my way to Nashville, Tennessee to present at the American Association of Christian Counselors with . 🌿🙏

This week, I’ll be co-leading two workshops:
➡️ Pre-Conference Workshop – on the integration of Nature, Faith & EMDR🌲
➡️ Professional Workshop – an overview of EMDR therapy 🧠

As I review my notes, I’m in awe of how God has opened doors I never imagined. I’ll be in the presence of some of the greats in the field—Dr. Clinton, Dr. Amen, Gary Chapman, Lysa TerKeurst, Jennie Allen, Dr. Henry Cloud, Dr. Townsend, Curt Thompson, and more. Wow.

It all started with one yes:
➡️ One yes to take an EMDR training several years ago.
➡️ One brave yes to lead a calming exercise in my cohort.
➡️ One yes to continue on for certification.
➡️ One yes to step into consulting.

Every “yes” felt scary—but God used each one to lead me here. And now, I have the honor of presenting a pre conference and professional workshop at the biggest conference in our field.

🙏 Would you pray with me this week? On Wednesday at 1:45 PM and Friday at 8:45 AM, please pray for:
✨ A calm body & clear mind
✨ That the Lord would use me as His mouthpiece
✨ That His presence would guide every word

I’m so grateful for your support on this journey. It’s a reminder that even the smallest yes can lead to something bigger than we ever imagined. 💛

You don’t have to figure it all out.
You just need to be willing to listen.

If you’ve been wrestling with whether now is the time to step into your calling as a therapist, coach, or wellness provider, here are a few questions to bring into prayer and journaling:

đź’ Who does God say I am?
đź’ What lies am I believing that are holding me back?
đź’ What mindsets are misaligned with His truth?
đź’ How has God already equipped and gifted me to serve?
đź’ What does He want to give me so I can move forward in faith?

When we partner with the Holy Spirit, the next steps don’t feel so heavy. They feel guided. Grace-covered.

✨Honored ✨

I’m so grateful to be featured in the first-ever issue of MILSPO Social Co. Magazine (coming in 2026)—a beautiful new platform created to spotlight the strength, creativity, and purpose-driven lives of military spouses.

As a milspouse of 17 years, a mom of 4, and the founder of Graceful Balance Wellness & Collective, I know what it means to build in the waiting—to carry the invisible load and create something meaningful in the middle of the mess.

Thank you for seeing and celebrating this community. It’s an honor to be part of something so bold, beautiful, and full of heart. 💛

Feeling like a fraud?

Like maybe you’re not qualified enough to be doing this work?

Like someone’s going to “find out” you’re not perfect?

You’re not alone. And you’re not the only one.

Imposter syndrome is loud—especially when you’re stepping into something God’s called you to do.

But here’s the truth:

📖 “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” – Ephesians 2:10

That means you were designed for this.
You were prepared for this.
You were sent for this.

💡 Try this: Write out affirmations based on God’s Word each day. Remind your soul of what’s true.

Here’s one to start:
✨ I am God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good.
✨ I am equipped, empowered, and called.
✨ I don’t have to be perfect—just faithful.

If this resonates, I’d love to walk alongside you in building your practice from a place of clarity, confidence, and Christ-centered purpose.
