Hanover Hurricanes Claim Victory Over North Carroll Panthers to improve to 3-0

Hanover Hurricanes were victorious against North Carroll Panthers 5-2 on Tuesday in their home opener

Hanover got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Abe Dull to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored, and Timmy Wagaman singled, scoring two runs.

The Hurricanes added one run in the second. Kolton Haifley hit a sacrifice fly, making the score 4-0.

Kevin Tracey earned the win for Hanover Hurricanes. The lefty surrendered four hits and one run (zero earned) over five innings, striking out six and walking two. Andrew Weaver appeared in relief for Hanover Hurricanes.

Hanover amassed nine hits in the game. Tracey, Malcolm Ferree, and Isaiah Dull each collected two hits for Hanover. Haifley and Wagaman each drove in two runs for the Canes. Hanover turned two double plays in the game and were sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error.

Next up for Hanover Hurricanes is a game at Cashtown on Thursday.

Hanover Hurricanes Secure Win In Game 2 Against South Penn League Twins

Hanover Hurricanes outsted the Twins 4-1 on Sunday afternoon at Oxford Township

Hanover got on the board in the top of the second inning after Abe Dull singled to left field, and Owen Grove walked, each scoring one run.

The Hurricanes added one run in the third. Jake Dull hit a sacrifice fly, making the score 3-1.

Isaiah Dull earned the win for the Canes. The starter gave up one hit and one run over five innings, striking out eight and walking four. Andrew Weaver pitched two innings of scoreless ball for Hanover in relief. The reliever gave up zero hits, striking out six and walking one.

Abe Dull, Chase Roberts, Grove, and Jake Dull each drove in one run for Hanover. Jeremy Gilbert led the Canes with three hits in three at bats. Grove paced Hanover with two walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, collecting six walks for the game. Isaiah Dull stole two bases as Hanover stole four bases in the game.

The Hurricanes will have their home opener on Tuesday as they host the North Carroll Panthers at Diller Field

Hanover Hurricanes Defeat South Penn League Twins On Dominant Performance From Abe Dull

Abe Dull threw a shutout to lead Hanover Hurricanes past South Penn League Twins 5-0 on Sunday at 780 Hanover Street, New Oxford, PA 17350.

Hanover Hurricanes got on the board in the second inning after Timmy Wagaman grounded out, scoring one run.

Bryson Shoemaker took the loss for South Penn League Twins. The reliever went two innings, surrendering one run on one hit, striking out none and walking five. Christian Grote stepped on the mound first for South Penn League Twins. The hurler allowed four hits and one run over three innings, striking out two and walking three.

Hanover Hurricanes collected nine hits in the game. Abe Dull, Justin Hefner, and Alex Trayer each collected two hits for Hurricanes. Chase Roberts, Hefner, Wagaman, and Jake Dull each drove in one run for Hanover Hurricanes. Roberts led Hanover with three walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, amassing nine walks for the game. The Canes were sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error.

Brandon Morgret and AJ Bullock were a force together in the lineup, as they each collected one hit for South Penn League Twins while hitting back-to-back.
