Hanover Hurricanes Claim Victory Over North Carroll Panthers to improve to 3-0
Hanover Hurricanes were victorious against North Carroll Panthers 5-2 on Tuesday in their home opener
Hanover got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Abe Dull to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored, and Timmy Wagaman singled, scoring two runs.
The Hurricanes added one run in the second. Kolton Haifley hit a sacrifice fly, making the score 4-0.
Kevin Tracey earned the win for Hanover Hurricanes. The lefty surrendered four hits and one run (zero earned) over five innings, striking out six and walking two. Andrew Weaver appeared in relief for Hanover Hurricanes.
Hanover amassed nine hits in the game. Tracey, Malcolm Ferree, and Isaiah Dull each collected two hits for Hanover. Haifley and Wagaman each drove in two runs for the Canes. Hanover turned two double plays in the game and were sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error.
