We’re excited to share that Dinkers Pickleball is a proud partner of the Keystone Crushers! Stefanie, the owner of Dinkers Pickleball in Rochester NY is also a co-owner of the Crushers and the Rochester Renegades Pickleball team!

Stefanie works hard behind the scenes, but one of her greatest strengths is shining the spotlight on the people around her. She has played a huge role in the growth of pickleball in the Rochester area, not only through Dinkers, but also by helping bring the 35+ Renegades Pickleball Team into the Dinkers community.

Now, alongside co-owner Amy, Stefanie is excited to see what this first season of the Keystone Crushers brings.

She loves watching her players compete with fight, determination, and passion. You can find her on the sidelines cheering them on every step of the way.

The Keystone Crushers round out our elite squad with the draft of BRAD LACY to the team!! 💪🏼

Brad Lacy is originally from southern Indiana and currently resides in Indianapolis. A former baseball, racquetball, and table tennis player, Brad discovered pickleball five years ago and immediately caught the bug. Since then, he has dedicated himself to the sport and continued his upward climb toward the senior pro level.

A business owner, Brad brings a strong team-first mindset and enjoys supporting his teammates both on and off the court. He looks forward to the challenge of competing at a high level, contributing his experience and energy, and helping the team achieve victory.

The Keystone Crushers are overjoyed to announce that WENDY PEAY has been drafted to the team!! 💪🏼

Born and raised in the great state of Indiana, I grew up as a multi-sport athlete, competing in basketball, tennis, volleyball, and softball. I am very blessed to be a wife and am a proud mom of 23-year-old boy/girl twins.

I discovered pickleball in 2020, and it instantly became my healthy addiction. I consider myself a true student of the game—when I’m not on the court playing, you can usually find me watching, learning, giving lessons or selling paddles.
Pickleball has taken me to courts across the country, giving me the opportunity to compete at a high level while making friendships along the way. That combination of travel, competition, and fun is one of the things I love most about the sport.

Along the way, I’ve been fortunate to win gold medals at both the regional and national levels, including the USA Pickleball Diamond Amateur Regional Championship in Cincinnati, Ohio; the USA Pickleball Diamond Amateur National Championship in Holly Hill, Florida; and the US Open Pickleball Championships in Naples, Florida.
Last year, I had the opportunity to compete in the inaugural season of the US Legends Pickleball League as a member of the Florida Royals. Our season ended with a second-place finish after an unforgettable, nail-biting DreamBreaker championship match against the DelRays.

This year, I’m excited to begin a new chapter with the Keystone Crushers. I’m looking forward to competing alongside my new teammates, continuing to grow as a player, and enjoying another fun and competitive season doing what I love!

The Crushers are excited too Wendy! After having had the opportunity to meet, watch, and play with/against Wendy last year during the inaugural season, she was an easy player selection this year!! The Keystone Crushers are very happy to announce the addition of drafted player, MATT GULLO to the team this season! 💪🏼

With a multi-sport background, Matt first played Pickleball in the Fall of 2022 and found it to be a great blend of fitness and high level competition. He has since won over 35 medals in doubles, mixed doubles, and singles in local and regional tournaments.

Outside his corporate career, he is a PPR Certified Pickleball coach at Dill Dinkers Chantilly. He is excited to join the team environment with the owners, the GM / Coach, and all his teammates as a member of the Crushers in season 2 of the USLPL!

The Keystone Crushers are pumped to announce CHERYL OCONNELL as a drafted player to the team!! 💪🏼

My name is Cheryl OConnell. I’m originally from Buffalo, NY, and now proudly call Sarasota, FL, home. I started playing pickleball competitively in the spring of 2023. My love for the game grew from the wonderful people I met and played with back in Buffalo—thank you, Buffalo Pickleball Crew!

I have three amazing kids that I am very proud of! All 3 enjoy pickleball, it has become a fun family competition whenever we’re all in town together.

When I’m not on the pickleball court, you’ll find me working out, playing disc golf, kayaking, or enjoying sunset walks on Siesta Key Beach!

I’m excited to be heading into my 2nd season with the USLPL! I love the team aspect and the high level of competitive play. I’m looking forward to another great season and making more memories on and off the court.

The Keystone Crushers are excited to share that BRENT ROY was drafted to our team!! 💪🏼

Born and raised in Louisiana, I grew up playing baseball as a pitcher before discovering pickleball over a decade ago. Since then, the sport has brought a lot of joy, new friendships, and a way to stay active. I'm a Certified instructor so I also enjoy teaching and giving lessons in my free time.
Off the court, I enjoy time with my wife and our dog, trips to the mountains and flipping houses.

After watching Brent play at the USLPL Combine and having an opportunity to speak with him, he became a confident selection for the Crushers! His unique grip, smooth court movement, calm, focused, and friendly demeanor on and off the court, and his inner competitive spirit kept drawing us back. We can’t wait to see what Brent brings to the team! Please help us welcome him to the Crushers!! 🔥🏓

The Keystone Crushers are so hyped to announce that KRISTEN CHANDLER has been drafted to the team this season!! 💪🏼

Kristen is excited to join the Crushers this year! She is from Falls Church, VA and credits the area's incredible pickleball community for giving her years of fun play, an amazing social network, tons of great competition, and the chance to share the court with her son, Aaron, who is now playing on the JMU club team. JMU is a special place for Kristen...she played D1 soccer there and met her husband, Rob, when they were both JMU Dukes. After 7 years of teaching HS math and coaching HS soccer/basketball/field hockey/cheerleading, Kristen is in her 26th year working for the MATHCOUNTS Foundation. When not working or on the court, she looks forward to hangin' out and laughing with Rob and Aaron, being a groupie of Rob's band, drives in the Jeep, and a good crochet project.

Kristen brings years of experience and grit. Her defensive prowess is a special highlight of her game, and she will never give up on herself or her partner (even when suffering from food poisoning)! To know Kristen, is to love her. Please help us welcome Kristen to the Crushers!! 🏓🔥

The Keystone Crushers are very pleased to announce the draft of ROCKY KOENIG to the team!!! 💪🏼 We know we scored big time and cannot wait to see you in action this season!

Rocky started playing pickleball in 2019 and was fortunate to have 2 brothers, who were the Badger State Games pickleball champions, mentor him. Those 2, along with other high level players in northeastern Wisconsin, helped my passion for this sport grow. I have competed with friends in local moneyballs, a semi-pro league, and played 5.0 PPA tournaments in St. George, UT, and Cincinnati, OH.

Before discovering pickleball, Rocky played and coached high level volleyball. While serving in the military, Rocky played sand doubles or grass triples 5 days a week when not working. After finishing 6 years of service, he played collegiately in Southern California for 2 years as an all-conference setter/outside hitter. Then he moved back to WI to play at Lakeland University as the libero and was a 2-time all american and is in the WVC Hall of Fame. After college, Rocky began coaching college women's volleyball at UW-Milwaukee (Horizon League) and top club teams at Milwaukee Sting. That was been his full time profession until a couple years ago, taking him to North Dakota, Ohio, and then back to Wisconsin for college and club coaching opportunities.

Now, I am blessed to work full time as a pickleball coach, tournament/league director, and consultant. Pickleball Kingdom in Appleton, WI, is my pickleball club home. I love the community, growth mindset, and intentional effort of so many players at PK Appleton. I love the tactical aspects of the game, which can lead to anticipation advantages or smart pattern adjustments. I describe my style of play as precise, patient, and pattern driven. Once this is established, then the tactical adjustments and tricks can be utilized. My goals for the season are to soak up and learn as much as possible from teammates, coaches, business professionals, and opponents. “Iron sharpens iron," and I anticipate a better, smarter version of me will emerge from this amazing opportunity.
