Ripley Kids and After School

Due to the forecasted extremely cold temperatures, the Ripley Kids, After School, and Michigan Tech P.E. Learn to Ski and Snowboard Programs will be postponed on the following dates:

Thursday, January 22
Friday, January 23
Saturday, January 24

The safety and comfort of our participants, families, and staff are always our top priority, and these conditions fall below our operating thresholds for programming.

Ripley Kids and After School Programs will receive make- up lessons at the end of the regularly scheduled program.

Please also note the following operational updates:

Thursday, January 22: Mont Ripley will operate on reduced hours from 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm
Friday, January 23: All of Michigan Tech including Mont Ripley will be CLOSED
Saturday, January 24: Mont Ripley will operate from 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm, with T-Bar access only.
No Tubing on Saturday.

Same problem...different day

Mother Nature is rocking the chairs, and we've decided to postpone the After School lessons so folks can stay home and stay safe instead of being on the road in a whiteout!

An additional lesson will be added at the end of the program on February 20th

Due to high winds and unfavorable conditions, the After School the and Adult lessons for Monday, January 27th are being postponed.

A make up lesson will be added to Monday, March 3rd (not February 24th, due to Tech Spring Break)

Due to the incoming storm and possibility of low visibility and unfavorable road conditions in the morning, we are postponing the start date of the Ripley Kids Program until next week.
