⚠️Traffic & water service alert⚠️

City crews are responding to a water main break along Highway 3 near the Franklin County Courthouse in Hampton.

🚧 The Iowa DOT is handling traffic control in the area. Motorists are asked to obey traffic control devices and use caution while traveling through the work zone.

💧 Residents and businesses along the Highway 3 corridor may be without water service while repairs are underway. Hampton Public Works Director Doug Tarr says crews are still determining the extent of the damage, and there is no estimate yet on when repairs will be completed.

🏛️ The Franklin County Courthouse is closed today due to the water main break and repair work in the area.
