Race Recap: May 9th, 2026

To start out I would like to give a huge thank you to my team for busting their tails to help me do what I love. 1st practice I didn’t get to complete a lap as I got wrecked on the back stretch. Me and my team immediately got to work to try to get it back together for 2nd practice to shake it down before qualifying. We got it back together and it felt great. Next we head out for qualifying and the truck got a little tight and I ended up qualifying 6th with a 19.741. We made some adjustments before the race and felt pretty good about it. On the start I dropped in line behind 5th but was able to keep him in sight up until a caution came out of lap 12. I restarted in 5th and spent the rest of the race up until lap 20 trying to work my way around 4th when my rr tire went down. After they towed the truck back to the pits I hurried to get back in the truck while my team worked on putting a new tire on so we could finish the race. Unfortunately we had went a lap down due to the caution being thrown after the leaders passed me. I ended up finishing the race 8th. Even though the day didn’t go like we hoped we never gave up and im so grateful for my team and sponsors.

Saturday April 25th

To start out our day we ran a 19.804 in 1st practice. After first practice we started wrenching on the truck to try to get a little more out of it. 2nd practice comes around and we ran a 19.519 which was much better but we went back to work on the truck before qualifying. In qualifying I put it 4th with a 19.278 which is my fastest time in the truck so far. Unfortunately our race got rained out which im very bummed out about, but on the bright side we made a lot of improvements throughout the day.
