So proud of all these kids! They all finished the race yesterday, concluding their 1st Lyghtning Fit Run Club session! They worked hard and had fun for 8 weeks!

I love this run club so much, it brings me so much joy to see the progress and have fun running with these kids!

Next 8 week session starts on June 18th! There are still a few spots left, sign up on the Pender County Parks Website!

I'm so excited to announce that I've hired a 2nd coach!!!

The amazing Courtney Winter!! She's such an inspiration to the Hampstead running community and to me personally. I know how passionate she is about running and I know she's going to crush being a Lyghtning Fit Run Coach!!!

Here is a little about Coach Courtney:
My name is Courtney Winter and I have been a runner since I was 13. Running happened by mistake to stay in shape for basketball, now I can't live without it. I have coached hundreds of kids and worked with Girls on the Run locally for years. I enjoy inspiring others to reach their goals and even surpass them. I am very excited to embark on this new adventure and coach with Miranda and her team with Lyghtning Fit.

My run club is Rain or Shine!

Let your kids play in the rain!

Let them get wet and muddy and grow their creativity.

Kids need different environments to grow and learn and I applaud the 4 families who brought their kids today despite the rain!

We had so much fun... the smiles didn't leave the kids faces the whole time!
