The Cunha School Wrestling Team won their first Mid Peninsula Intermediate League Championship since 2003 today!

Ivan Landin - 90 lbs, Lane Miller - 152 lbs, and Marcus Andrade - 193 lbs were CHAMPIONS.

Emilio Mendoza - 91 lbs, Isaiah Bautista - 106 lbs, Kaylani Over - 116 lbs., and Lenny Mandujano - 104 lbs
placed 2nd.

Gabriel Garcia-Procopio - 118 lbs, Tristan Reilly - 110 lbs., Lilly Bradshaw - 116 lbs., Zach “Brody” Broad - 138 lbs., Felix Sehonestein - 128 lbs, and Sebastian “CB” Contreras - 76 lbs. placed 3rd.

Dante Geronimo - 160 lbs. and JT Baker - 152 lbs placed 4th

Here’s the truth. Take it or leave it. We need 2 things from athletes: buy-in & staying power. We can’t out coach quitting. Our results are dependent upon having a kid for 4-7 yrs. Give me parents that value the process & commit their kid will finish. The success will follow.

Last night of our Winter Session. We had as many as 26 kids several times and we ran our first ever Kids Tournament.
