Rituals help me re-ground and reflect what’s going on with me physically/mentally. Coffee and music-making both serve that purpose. When I find myself spacing out or dropping the beans all over the counter- or if I spend 2 hours trying to get an instrument to sound right- it may be helpful information about my mental state, and what I need. Do you have any go-to rituals rn? What do you get out of them?

I’m a big believer in sustainable creativity. I’m all about a consistent little trickle versus a back and forth battle between deluge and drought. Burnout is so real in art! Still very much working on this personally.
