This might ruffle some feathers...
Peanut butter is not a great protein source.
Neither are whole eggs.
And protein bars and Quest chips aren't the protein powerhouses most people think they are.
Before you come for me in the comments ๐
Can these foods fit into a healthy diet? Absolutely.
But when I look at food logs from women who are struggling to lose fat, I sometimes see things like:
๐ฅ Peanut butter for protein
๐ฅ 2 eggs for breakfast (just 12g protein ๐ณ)
๐ซ Protein bars as snacks
๐ง Protein chips instead of a real meal
The problem?

If your goal is fat loss, muscle building, or simply hitting your protein target, you'll have a much easier time focusing on foods that are naturally protein-dense:
โ๏ธ Chicken breast
โ๏ธ Turkey
โ๏ธ Lean beef
โ๏ธ Fish & seafood
โ๏ธ Egg whites
โ๏ธ Edamame
โ๏ธ Tofu & tempeh
This doesn't mean peanut butter, eggs, or protein bars are all "bad."

What's a food you used to think was high protein until you looked at the label? ๐
