Mark your calendars! Hagerstown Area Youth Soccer League Picture Days are scheduled for:

📅 Wednesday, September 23 & Thursday, September 24

Please have your player arrive in their team jersey and ready for both individual and team photos!

Each team will receive their specific picture schedule before Picture Day.

📸 Not planning to purchase photos? We still encourage your player to come out and participate! We want every player there to represent and support their team. ❤️⚽

Hello HAYSL Parents and Players,

We are excited to kick off the Hagerstown Area Youth Soccer League Fall Season! ⚽️

Games begin on Saturday, September 12th, and we are looking forward to a fun, safe, and exciting season for everyone.

By now, everyone should have received communication from their player’s coach regarding practice days and times. Please be on the lookout for the game schedule, which will be provided soon. Attached you will find a map that will help you find your player's field at the Fairgrounds.

Before the season gets underway, please review these important game day reminders to make sure every player arrives prepared.

⚽ IMPORTANT GAME DAY INFORMATION

• Shin Guards: Must be worn under socks at all times during the game.
• Team Jersey: Jerseys will be distributed before the first game and must be worn for player identification.
• Soccer Ball: Players should bring a properly sized and inflated soccer ball for warm-ups. See your coach for the ball size for your player's division.
• Water Bottle: Required to help players stay hydrated.
• Jewelry: Necklaces, bracelets, and other jewelry are not permitted.
• Soccer Cleats: Cleats are not required, but they are strongly recommended.
• Dress for the Weather: Please dress appropriately for the weather. Hoods may not be worn during the game.

⏰ ARRIVAL TIME

Players should arrive 15–20 minutes early for warm-ups so games can begin on time. Please check with your coach for your team's specific warm-up arrival time.

For safety reasons, players without the proper equipment will not be allowed to participate.

❤️ A FRIENDLY REMINDER ABOUT SPORTSMANSHIP

Our coaches and referees are volunteers who generously give their time to serve our children and our community. We ask that all parents, players, and spectators show kindness, patience, and respect at all times.

Encouraging words and positive sportsmanship help create a great experience for every child on the field.

Our goal is to create a fun, safe, and encouraging environment for every player. Let’s work together to make this a great season filled with teamwork, sportsmanship, friendships, and excitement.

We look forward to seeing everyone on the field on Saturday, September 12th!

⚽ DON’T FORGET — FAMILY SOCCER MEETING TOMORROW! ⚽

We’re getting closer to the start of the fall soccer season! Don’t forget to join us tomorrow evening for our HAYSL Family Soccer Meeting, Cleat Exchange & Field Setup!

📍 Location: HAYSL Concession Stand Pavilion
🏟️ Located near the soccer fields at the Hagerstown Fairgrounds
⏰ Beginning at 6:30 PM
*Players are not required to attend the meeting but may do so. (soccer balls will be available for any kids who want to play on the fields during the meeting)

We’ll have some important information to share as we get ready for the season, plus an opportunity to exchange cleats and get the fields ready!

⚽ What Does Each Player Need for the season?

Each player will be provided with a team jersey.

Families will need to provide:

👟 Soccer cleats
🦵 Shin guards
⚽ Soccer ball

Soccer balls are provided for team practices, but players are welcome to bring their own ball to practice. It’s especially important that each player has a soccer ball at home so they can practice between team sessions!

We’re excited to get everyone ready for another great season of HAYSL soccer! 🙌⚽

⚽🍂 HAYSL FAMILIES — FALL SOCCER SEASON IS HERE! 🍂⚽

We are excited to kick off another great season of HAYSL soccer! We have some important dates and information for all of our HAYSL families. Save the dates and stay tuned for more details!

📅 FALL SEASON IMPORTANT DATES

⚽ August 13 — Family Meeting, Cleat Exchange & Field Setup
🕡 Beginning at 6:30 PM and learn information about HAYSLs pillars and about the season.

👟 CLEAT EXCHANGE
Have cleats your child has outgrown? Bring new or gently used cleats to the August 13 meeting so we can help another HAYSL player get ready for the season!

⚽ August 17 — Practices Begin
Practices will begin this week. Coaches will be reaching out to parents with team assignments and information about practice dates, times, and locations.

🏆 September 12 — First Games of the Season!
The first games of the fall season are scheduled for this date. Game schedules will be communicated in the coming weeks.

🎃 October 31 — Final Day of the Official Season & Mummers Parade ( additional details about the Mummers Parade will be provided soon)

🏆 November 7 — Tournaments
Tournament details will be announced as they become available.

🧹 November 9 — Field Take Down

We are currently in the process of forming teams. Coaches will begin reaching out to parents soon with team assignments and practice information. Game schedules will also be communicated in the next few weeks.
