How to Get There: We are here to provide tools to you to deal with real life situations around challenges you face both internally and externally. The tools we provide will identify and empower you to identify opportunities for your personal learning with an emphasis on:
the thoughts and stories that exist in our head and the impact thoughts have on us
the skills needed to understand the impact money has on our present life and the impact to our future the resources to provide a bridge to the future that you design experience in teamwork and collaboration to demonstrate the power we have to create positive outcomes that didn't exist before.

Lead Yourself Youth offers consulting to international youth organizations.

Pertinent to mention on this International Women’s Day as the majority of our consultants & 100% of our trainers identify as female.

Now, more than ever LQBTQIA+, immigrants, children of immigrants, & people of color need safe spaces.

We offer consulting to facilitate your school, club or youth group to engage in collective healing.

This is a picture sent by a youth organizer who took us up on our consulting.

We charge $100 per hour for youth consulting. Proceeds from this are poured into our R&D. We invest hundreds of hours each year on trauma-informed training & neuroscience research in support of youth.

So many of us were taught to hide our emotions in public, to repress our sadness (“don’t cry” “don’t be sad”) as young children. Yet having big emotions is a normal part of development and a normal mode of communication in the early years of life.

Children who have adults in their lives, encouraging them to express their emotion and acknowledge the emotion showing up by saying things like “you seem sad, is that what you are feeling?” allow children to develop healthy relationships with their emotions. This is a key to regulation.

Self medication, outbursts, oppositional behavior during preadolescence and adolescence can be met with acknowledging the emotions, uncertainty, and pressure of that time through the acknowledgment of emotions.

For those with young adults in their lives, who may be experiencing hardship , a volatile relationship with drugs, it’s never too late to learn about emotional literacy, and to create the space to allow others to speak their experience.

Most people have the intention of wanting to be a safe space for others where others voices can be heard. In order to do that self-awareness around our own emotions and sensations and being able to talk to them as a good first step. We can then provide the space for others when we are familiar with our own emotions.

Lead Yourself Youth has trained, facilitators, and coaches who work with adults and youth. And we feel that now with the attack on LGBTQ, women, people of color, and immigrant families, emotional support is needed more than ever to heal what is happening now and to provide future generations with a healthy path.

We work with staff AND students!

It’s powerful. Together students & adult faculty become educated about the habits they learn through unintentional practice. 3 examples:
-procrastination
-interrupting others (not fully listening due to anxiety or overexcitement)
-speaking first rather than giving room for others to

Together! Students & faculty learn how to create intentional practices to develop new leadership skills.

Influence, impact & trust happens by being present. Our level of presence is a practice!! We facilitate this.

🤨Adolescence & young adulthood are challenging times for the ones experiencing life at these stages directly, & for the adults who are dedicated to cultivating healthy independence with the youth in their life.

💡Adults have more exposure, years of experience, defeat, victories, & decades of consistent feedback from all sorts of situations.

🤔Youth are trying to envision what adults have seen, but can only do so abstractly.

😊At Lead Yourself Youth, we have a team that works 1:1 with both youth & adults to support the fostering of independence and resilience.

💕Our foundation? Finding the place of care. No matter our age we all have things that light us up, these provide threads we can follow and unwind. They will take different forms over time & experience. And! All that’s needed is to start pulling at the threads to start life’s path.
