This year's GHS Athletic Hall of Fame Inductees are:

The 1989 State Champion Blue Jay Baseball Team
1999 Grad Dr. Nathan Brown - Golf
2004 Grad Jamie Theobald-Hamon - CC/Track
2008 Grad Emily Davis-Johnson - Basketball
2009 Grad Donte Foster - Football/Basketball/Track

We will be having our 4th annual Golf Scramble on 8/10/2019 (see attached flyer). This is the only source of revenue for the HOF and 100% of the proceeds are used to purchase the plaques displayed at the high school. It is a great time of fun, reunion & fellowship. Please consider adding a team or sponsoring a hole. (also, please share on your own timelines)

Well, the Inaugural Blue Jay Hall of Fame Golf Tournament is in the books a D what a success it was. Thanks to everyone who volunteered, those who sponsored and and to Guthrie Golf and Country Club for hosting us. Team Terra Insure was victorious at -5 in the 9 hole scramble with teams Jeff Chappell and Jon Chappell shooting -4 31. Because the 2 Chappell squads both shot 31 and had identical scores on each of the 9 holes, a coin flip determined the 2nd place finisher as team Jeff Chappell and Team Jon Chappell as 3rd place. Let's do it again next year!!

We are about 1/2 full for our Inaugural GHS Hall of Fame 9-Hole Golf Scramble on August 6th at Guthrie Golf & Country Club. 100% of the revenue generated in this tourament is going to purchase the plaques for this year's class of inductees. We will be hosting the "Inaugural GHS Athletic Hall of Fame Golf Tournament" on Saturday August 6th at Guthrie Golf & Country Club. It's Been Approximately 15 years since anyone has been inducted into the Hall of Fame, but that will change this Fall. All of the festivities will be centered on & around Football Homecoming including a float in the parade, a reception at the sports museum and recognition at halftime of the football game.
