I'll be sharing Foundational Exercises, Classical Mat Exercises, Reformer Exercises... and how that can all transfer over into an AWESOME Pilates Mat Class! These are your building blocks as you create your modern group classes. These foundational pieces are what will keep people coming back each week! Learn the history of Pilates where it all began, so that your classes TODAY make more sense and have purpose!

PILATES MAT TEACHING INTENSIVE
Classical Foundations for Contemporary Group Teaching

Pilates is everywhere right now-and I love seeing the method continue to spread to new people. But I also believe the strongest modern Pilates classes are built on an understanding of the classical work: know the what, know the why...and then have a little fun.😉

As a classically trained Pilates instructor who also loooves a modern-style Pilates fusion class, I created this intensive to help bridge those two worlds.

This 6-hour intensive is designed for yoga teachers, group fitness instructors, movement professionals, and Pilates enthusiasts who want to deepen their understanding of Pilates mat work and learn how to thoughtfully incorporate it into contemporary group classes.

✨For this first offering, I'm looking for just FOUR participants to be part of my Founding Group.

The Founding Group will receive a special $295 rate and will have the opportunity to provide feedback as I continue to refine the course.

I'm currently gauging interest before choosing the exact fall dates. I'm planning two 3-hour weekday morning sessions in Grayslake.

Now more than ever, I'm grateful for the solid training I have to stand on.

Pilates has certainly become more popular lately, and I love that more people are discovering it. But trends come and go.

What won't change is my commitment to teaching the true principles of Pilates-helping people move better, build lasting strength, and create a body that serves them for life.

I always tell my clients: I love Pilates because I can still be doing it when I'm I'm 80. And I fully plan to😉

When you walk into a Pilates studio for the first time…some of the things you see may confuse and surprise you😆😅

Every prop, every piece of equipment-there is a true purpose! And most of it isn’t torture, despite how it may appear 😄

August is just around the corner!!
I’ve been reflecting on what a whirlwind of a summer I’ve had. I’ll be sad when it’s over, but more than ever, I’m craving routine. But that will come… and until then, I want to keep appreciating the magic of summer while it’s still here ☀️
