Current and future HURRICANE basketball family- We need your help tomorrow morning! 💚 🏀

, We Need Your Help!

As we prepare for our 1st Home Football Game next week, we're looking for volunteers to help get our athletic facilities game-day ready!

Join us for our 1st Annual Facility Clean-Up Day on Saturday, August 29, from 9:00 AM to Noon as we work together to make our campus shine for the upcoming season.

We will be focusing on all three athletic facilities:
✅ Football Stadium
✅ Softball Field
✅ Baseball Field

We are asking volunteers to bring equipment and tools such as:
• Push mowers
• Sidewalk edgers
• String trimmers
• Hand tools and other landscaping equipment

In addition to general cleanup, we have several projects that need attention, including assembling soccer goals and installing windscreen.

🍕 Pizza and drinks will be provided for all volunteers!

This is a great opportunity to give back to Hurricanes Athletics and help us create a first-class experience for our student-athletes, families, and fans.

We hope you'll join us on August 29th and be part of making our facilities look their best!

We are offering a limited-edition acrylic commemorative ticket to mark this historic occasion. These collectible tickets are just $20 each and are limited to the first 90 purchasers.

This unique souvenir is the perfect way to remember our first home game and will be a keepsake you can proudly display for years to come.

⚠️ Due to limited availability, purchases are limited to one ticket per family.

Don't wait. These tickets are expected to sell out quickly! Ticket will be available for pick up at the game.

After careful consideration, we have decided to make some adjustments to our ticketing options to better accommodate our families and supporters while continuing to provide opportunities for everyone to cheer on their favorite Hurricanes Athletics teams.

Effective immediately, we will be offering a Student Discount Ticket for just $5 to help make our events more affordable and accessible for students and families.

In addition, we are excited to announce that Adult and Student All-Sport Passes will be available in the near future, providing an even greater value for our loyal Hurricanes fans.

We hope these new options will make it easier for everyone to attend and support our student-athletes throughout the year. Your support plays a vital role in the success of our programs, and we are committed to creating opportunities for our entire community to be a part of Hurricanes Athletics.

Upcoming basketball camp opportunity with Brittany Brown. Camp location is -Choctaw High School.
I was fortunate to coach Brittany during my first coaching job at WC Pryor. Brittany is an incredible player and an even more amazing person. She played collegiately at Florida State University and is entering her 10th year of playing professionally. She has played for teams in Israel, China, Spain, Turkey, Poland and Germany.

Thank you to Coach Tommy Brown — former college coach, author, and founder of One Heartbeat Warriors — for spending time in the gym with us at Soundside High School today.
Coach Brown travels across the United States speaking to high school and college teams about mental toughness, confidence, and overcoming adversity. He gave us powerful reminders on the impact of body language, how important it is to get “outside of ourselves” and pour into others, and ways that energy is created and shared within a team. The lessons learned on encouragement, connection, and leadership are takeaways that go far beyond basketball and into everyday life.
Congrats to Hadley Bass, for receiving the “Grundy” Award!!
