It was a good day at work today getting to help plant fruit trees in two of our county parks. There is just something special about doing work that not only helps beautify our local parks, but also adds something that can be enjoyed for years to come.

Projects like this are a great reminder that conservation and community go hand in hand. Every tree planted today is a step toward a greener, healthier, and more welcoming space for families, kids, wildlife, and future generations. It is always a good feeling to be part of something that helps improve the places we all get to enjoy.

Huge shoutout to Paul Wilson, drummer for Riven by Ravens, for the follow! That’s seriously awesome.

Riven by Ravens has quickly become one of my favorite up-and-coming bands, and it means a lot to get support from someone whose music I genuinely enjoy. If y’all haven’t checked them out yet, go give them a listen and show them some love. Always cool seeing hardworking musicians grinding and making noise the right way.

This bullhead catfish stays tucked away in his hiding spot until feeding time hits… then the tank comes alive! Watch as this little catfish creeps out of cover, locks onto the food, and shows off that classic bottom-feeder attitude.

Bullheads may not be the flashiest aquarium fish, but they have a ton of personality. From hiding in structure to charging out when food hits the water, this is exactly why native fish are so fun to watch.
