Richmond NASCAR Youth Series recap:
It still seems so unreal that I won my first National win. 🏁
I need to start by thanking my dad for his dedication and hard work. He made some major changes to the unrestricted animal car and it paid off. His motto is: Go big or go home and he went big. Thanks dad.
Heavy World formula:
Heat race: P5 - 5th
B Main: P3 - 1st
A Main: P7 - 7th
I was up to 3rd with 22 laps to go and got spun out which broke the chain off. After that I just couldn’t catch any brakes.
Unrestricted Animal
Heat race: P2 - 5th
B main: P4 - 4th
A main: P10 - 1st 🥇
Still speechless. I was patient and locked in.
I need to thank all the people who videotaped this winning moment for us. It has been awesome watching the passion and emotions of my parents, sister, brother in law and friends. Krystle Eilen, Whitney Murray, Tim Bertrand, Jess Jones and I am missing a couple more sorry - Thanks!
