Carolina Smokin’ Aces 14u Hayes didn’t get to finish out our tournament due to rain, but because we came in as the #2 seed, we finished as Gold Bracket Runner-Up 🥎👏🏼

I truly have no doubt in my mind that this team would’ve brought that championship home if the weather had given us the chance. One thing that stuck with me—the coach of the team we would’ve faced in the championship (the #1 seed) told me he was planning to “throw the whole kitchen sink at us” because of how well we had been playing. That says a lot about the kind of ball these girls were putting on the field this weekend.

I am SO proud of this team. Their effort, energy, grit, and fight all weekend long did not go unnoticed. We came to Myrtle Beach and made a statement.

We are now sitting at an 11-3 record on the year so far, and this group is only getting started. This isn’t the ending we wanted, but I know this team still has so much left to accomplish.

Gold Bracket Runner-Up… but we know what we’re capable of ❤️♠️

Carolina Smokin’ Aces 14u Hayes is representing in Myrtle Beach this weekend! 🥎🌊

The girls came out strong and went 2-0 today! Unfortunately, we didn’t get to finish our third pool game due to weather, but we were up 3-2 in the bottom of the 2nd when play was stopped.

Proud of the effort, energy, and grit these girls showed today. Excited to get back after it tomorrow and see what the day brings. Let’s keep rolling, Aces! ♠️❤️

At Carolina Smokin’ Aces, we believe development goes far beyond what happens during practice and games. That’s why all three of our teams have started weekly Strength & Conditioning and Speed & Agility training sessions!

A huge thank you to Coach Terry Martin at 2Day Not 2Morrow Fitness for investing in our athletes, pushing them to be better, and helping them develop both physically and mentally. We are committed to providing our players with opportunities to improve in every aspect of the game and become stronger, faster, and more confident athletes.

Shoutout to the girls who showed up today ready to work and put in the extra effort. Success doesn’t happen by accident—it comes from the work you put in when nobody is watching.

Congratulations to Molly Simmons #4 on being named our MVP of the first bracket game for Carolina Smokin’ Aces 12U Hayes! 🥎💪🏼

Molly was outstanding in the circle all day, pitching 8 total innings while recording 9 strikeouts, a 2.7 ERA, a 1.8 WHIP, and allowing only 4 walks 😤

The moment that earned her MVP honors came in our first bracket game with the bases loaded, the tying run on 3rd, and a full count. With the pressure at its highest, Molly stayed locked in and finished the game with a strikeout looking to secure the victory! 🔥

We are so proud of you, Molly. The countless hours you’ve put in have not gone unnoticed, and this recognition is well deserved. Keep trusting the process and working hard—great things are ahead!

Carolina Smokin’ Aces 14U Hayes wrapped up the night with a strong 3-1 record, battling their way to the Championship Game! ♠️❤️

After playing 4 back-to-back games, these girls never quit competing. We came up short 6-4 in the championship against a very talented older team, but we couldn’t be more proud of the fight, toughness, and resilience they showed all day long.

The growth this team has made continues to show every time they step on the field. They stayed locked in, played hard, and represented our organization the right way.

A special shoutout to Raegan Tumblin #23 for earning our first bracket game MVP! 🔥 Raegan stepped up in a big way and helped lead the charge when it mattered most.

We’ll take the lessons learned, get back to work, and keep pushing forward.
