Zach brings a wealth of experience in both defensive pistol and rifle training through military and civilian applications. He has assisted with numerous Concealed Carry courses and has competitive experience in both pistol and rifle disciplines.

🧠 Tip of the Day

Many focus on their trigger finger, but one of the biggest factors in accuracy is actually your grip.

A proper grip helps manage recoil, keeps your sights aligned, and allows for faster follow-up.

✅ High grip on the backstrap
✅ Firm pressure from both hands
✅ Support hand filling all open space on the grip
✅ Consistent grip every pull

Remember: You can't build consistency if your grip changes every time you pick up the firearm.

This week we're shining the spotlight on one of the most unique members of the Coastal Plain Shooting Academy team — Mitchell Meeks!

Mitchell is truly a jack of all trades with just a pinch of mad scientist mixed in. Whether he's crunching numbers as our CFO, solving problems behind the scenes, tackling projects around the facility, or dreaming up creative solutions nobody else would've thought of, Mitchell always finds a way to get it done.

He's the guy who can balance a spreadsheet, fix an issue, improve a process, and probably invent something new before lunch.

His dedication, creativity, and willingness to jump in wherever needed make him an invaluable part of the CPSA family.
