ECU ANST Student Interest Group East Carolina Association for Neuropsychology Students in Training (ANST)

The purpose of ANST is to provide a platform for students in training to discuss training needs and share resources to assist in their professional development. Additionally, our East Carolina Interest Group was partly developed to increase visibility of Clinical Neuropsychology in the Eastern North Carolina region.

For those interested in volunteering experience, this is a wonderful opportunity to volunteer with the NC Brain Injury Association! See below for additional info.

Go ahead and mark you calendars now! The 25th anniversary of BIANC Camp will take place from October 4th-6th 2019 at Camp Carefree in Stokesdale, NC. It will be a weekend of camp, fun, and fellowship for adults living with a brain injury, caregivers/family members, and volunteers. The cost is $35 per person, if interested download and print your registration form to fill out for campers. If interested in volunteering please contact Sandie Worthington at [email protected] or (252) 717-3347 for a volunteer registration form. Beds and space are limited, so get your forms and fees in ASAP.

Thanks to those who made it to our 2nd journal club tonight! We had great discussion on a case study involving episodic memory impairment following an ischemic lesion in the left medial temporal lobe, and the potential for neuropsychology integration in primary care.
