Kristen Wineinger has been added to the Softball Coaches of Indiana North All Star game roster!!!

She will join Savvanna Riall in the North VS South showdown on June 19th and 20th at IU Bloomington.

Next up, Charlotte Riehle!

4 year varsity letter winner
2 time all conference catcher

Caps off her Senior season with a .358 Batting average, .446 On base percentage, 3 Home runs, and 24 RBI's. This year alone caught 125 innings with only 8 PB's while throwing out 7 runners!

Charlotte was a 4 year varsity player who battled through some injury but never once stopped finding a way to contribute. She was a workhorse behind the plate who never let a bump or a bruise slow her down.

Charlotte we wish you all the best as you move on to continue your softball career at IU Indy!

Next up is Savvanna Riall

Vanna becomes Greenfield Central's all time leading Home Run hitter with 37 career HR's.
She also takes her place at the top of the career batting average statistic with a career .492 batting average.
Single season batting average record holder- .633 AVG
Single season RBI record holder- 58 RBI's
Single season HR record holder - 15 HR's
3 time all conference player
2nd team All State

Caps off her Senior season with a .533 Batting average, .647 On base percentage, 11 Home runs, 43 RBI's, and 34 runs scored. Carrying those offensive stats while leading the team in walks by almost double! Hard telling where those numbers would have been when given 21 more opportunities to add to the totals.

Vanna was a 4 year varsity player who crossed the white lines every day ready to compete no matter who was in the other dugout. Truly a generational powerhouse that will be missed greatly.

Savvanna we wish you all the best as you move on to continue your softball career at Toledo University.

TIme to post some records!!

First up Kristen Wineinger

Kristen becomes Greenfield Central's all time leading scorer with 138 career runs scored. Previous record was 117.

She ties the all time stolen base record with a career 57 stolen bases.

3 time all conference player

2nd team All State

Caps off her Senior season with a .542 Batting average, .591 On base percentage, 9 Home runs, 23 RBI's, and a staggering 47 runs scored.

Kristen was a 4 year varsity player that embodied her captain role. She showed up every day with a positive attitude, ready to compete, and ready to pour her knowledge and positivty into her teammates.

One of the most impressive stats from her career is that Kristen amounted a grand total of 10 strike outs her ENTIRE career. In 334 total At Bats she only struck out 10 TIMES! For the stat keepers at home that is a .030 k percentage. Insane number. Cherry on top, the last time Kristen struck out was in the first half of her Sophomore campaign.

After the bus returned we got to hustle over and cheer on our teammate Camilla Aldridge and her 4x400 relay team run in their Regional event.

Camilla has been on double duty this spring carrying the majority of the workload in center field as well as competing in track.
