I just took a brilliantly instructed class with Valeria! This was my first Zumba class since hip surgery and I was nervous since my only cardio has been running in one direction on the treadmill, but my hips remembered how to figure eight and I feel fantastic!!! Gracias, Valeria 😘

I’m going to my first FL cardiologist today. My EKG was abnormal, so my primary wouldn’t clear me for surgery. 🫣 Is this the next challenge dystonia brings to my body? I really don’t know.
When I’m unsure about something, I wonder WWDD? My dad would always be on his best behavior before a doctor's visit, thinking he could hide his diabetes. I am sure he sees now that wasn’t the best idea. It’s better to be honest with your doctors about how you live and eat.
If you know me, you know I believe my dad and my ancestors walk this life with me from the other side, so I say to him, “If caffeine triggered an abnormal EKG, I want to know.”
So I drink this coffee in my Peter cup, and I am grateful for the lessons my dad taught me through his mistakes.
I’ll let you all know how this goes.
