Green Sea Floyds High school has been identified as a Beating the Odds School. SC Education Oversight performed a school study that focused on understanding how GSF achieved an Excellent rating on their school report card, while overcoming obstacles Title 1 schools face that have shown to impede success.

Green Sea Floyds High School was the only High School in the state of South Carolina to meet the criteria for BTOIS for the 2024-2025 school year. Staff was presented with a banner from the SC Oversight commemorating this achievement.

Congratulations to Ben Elliott and Dargan Williams. These GSF Seniors are dual enrolled and just graduated with their certification in cybersecurity from HGTC. They will continue their education towards an associates degree.
