Posted • .lifestyle Carbs are a necessary macronutrient for performance, weight management, energy metabolism, hormones, and gut health to name a few. Also, most are highly palatable & are just plain delicious!

Not all carbohydrate sources are created equal in terms of quality, but they have a place in our diet. When counting macros you can decide which carbohydrate sources you incorporate to fuel your body and nourish your soul!

Can we please stop demonizing them!? If I hear one more time that someone is avoiding fruit because it is too high in sugar and will make you fat, I will throw my computer! 🥴😩

When someone who “cut carbs” lost weight, they put themselves in a CALORIE DEFICIT, it wasn’t eliminating the carbs alone. Please remember this and eat yo carbs. Your body will thank you & you’ll likely sleep better💤, have happier hormones, have more energy 🔋, be less irritable 😁, more regular 💩, and find that you’ll have greater adherence with your nutrition plan.
