Cole absolutely LAUNCHED ONE to left center tonight - a 3-RUN BOMB that had everybody fired up! 🚀🔥

But tonight wasn’t just about one swing - our Cove boys CAME TO PLAY. They played a GREAT game from top to bottom, competed hard, backed each other up and showed once again just how much this team continues to grow.

Tonight may have only been a scrimmage… but this one meant a little more. 💙🔥

We’ve faced this team before. We know how talented they are, we know how well they’re coached, and the last time we met, they got the better of us.

Tonight was different.

Same great opponent.
Same great competition.
But a VERY different Cove team stepped onto that field. 👀🔥

Our boys battled, competed, trusted each other and came out on top. 💪⚾

And THAT is what makes us so proud.

Not simply because we won, but because we could SEE the growth.

From the first time we scrimmaged this team at the beginning of our 13U journey to what we watched tonight… WOW. 🔥

Better baseball. More confidence. More fight. More TEAM.

And HUGE respect to the team across the field. 👏 They are a great baseball team with great coaching, and that’s exactly why nights like tonight matter. We WANT to play teams like this. We WANT to be challenged.

Because…

If you want to get better, play better competition.

HOLY SMOKES… THE COVE CAME TO PLAY THIS WEEKEND! 🔥⚾💙

Last weekend we learned.
This weekend we RESPONDED. 💪

And BOY did these boys respond.

16-4. 🔥
21-0. 🔥
Day 1 - DONE.
#1 SEED heading into Sunday! 👏

Sunday came and the boys picked up right where they left off - another 5-0 WIN to punch their ticket to the Championship! 🏆

The bats were ON FIRE. 🔥
The defense showed up.
The boys battled, competed and played for each other.

Then came one heck of a Championship game.

And wouldn’t you know it… ONE inning. 😩😂

One tough inning changed the game, and we fell just short of bringing home the championship. But THAT’S BASEBALL. One inning can change everything, and learning how to fight through those moments is exactly how a team gets better.

So boys, KEEP THOSE HEADS HIGH. 💙

🥈 2ND PLACE in only your SECOND 13U TOURNAMENT is something to be PROUD of!

Because the biggest win this weekend wasn’t the hardware…

It was the PROGRESS.

From last weekend to this weekend, the difference was HUGE. And if we can make that kind of jump in ONE WEEK… just imagine where this team can go. 👀🔥

We taught. We learned. We fought. We grew.
And next week, we get right back to WORK. 💪

The trophy we wanted may have slipped away this time,

I always knew he was good on a tractor… but last night I got to see those skills up close and personal while he was helping redo the fields at Tanglewood.
