Green Camp Grizzlies

It's hard to believe how quickly this season has flown by. While we're still focused on enjoying every moment with our current team, we wanted to get our 2027 tryout date on everyone's calendar!

Our program includes:
• $200 pay-to-play fee per player
• One major fundraiser for the season
• 5-6 competitive tournaments
• One out-of-state tournament experience
• Fall baseball on Sat. only (no practice)
• Off-season training begins mid-Jan.
• Spring season beginning March 2027

We believe in developing young athletes both on and off the field and creating an environment where players are expected to work hard, be coachable, support their teammates, and represent their community with pride.

Eligibility: This is for the 2027 12U season. Players who turn 13 years old prior to May 1, 2027, are not eligible unless in 6th grade.

The Grizzlies had an absolute blast playing alongside and against these incredible young athletes who inspire us all. The Unstoppables are a baseball team for children with special needs, showcasing the true spirit of perseverance. What an amazing program being offered right here in Marion County! We were honored to be apart of something so special. Great game to both of the Unstoppables teams!

The game of baseball is funny. One day, you can play one of your best games of the season, and the very next day, it feels like nothing goes right. That's what makes this game so challenging, humbling, and rewarding all at the same time. This season has certainly had its ups and downs. We've made great plays, we've made mistakes, and we've learned a lot along the way. Growth doesn't always show up on the scoreboard, but we've seen it happen every week. We were sitting here talking tonight about how grateful we are for the families who have been part of this season. We truly couldn't have asked for a more supportive, encouraging, and family-oriented group. One of the coolest things about this team is that from the stands, you can't tell whose parents belong to which player. Every hit, every catch, every success is celebrated by everyone. Every kid is cheered for like they're their own, and we are just grateful to make memories, and experience all the ups and downs of the game with you all. 💚🖤⚾️

Big Second Inning Leads Green Camp Grizzlies 11U Past Radnor Raptors 11U

Green Camp Grizzlies 11U defeated Radnor Raptors 11U 10-4 on Saturday at 6380 SR-229 thanks in part to six runs in the second inning. Jaxson B homered to center field, scoring three runs, Harrison M drew a walk, scoring one run, Easton P drew a walk, scoring one run, and a steal of home scored one run.

Green Camp Grizzlies 11U added one run in the third after Jaxson flew out.

Braxtyn B stepped on the bump first for Green Camp Grizzlies 11U. The hurler surrendered two hits and one run over three innings, striking out three and walking one. Ben S stepped on the bump first for Radnor Raptors 11U. The starting pitcher gave up six hits and 10 runs over five innings, striking out six and walking seven. Logan S appeared in relief for Green Camp Grizzlies 11U.

Jaxson led Green Camp Grizzlies 11U with three runs batted in. The outfielder went 1-for-3 on the day. Karson F went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead Green Camp Grizzlies 11U in hits. Braxtyn led Green Camp Grizzlies 11U with two walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, collecting seven walks for the game. Easton, Easton A, Luca H, Braxtyn, and Karson each stole multiple bases for Green Camp Grizzlies 11U. Green Camp Grizzlies 11U stole 15 bases in the game. Green Camp Grizzlies 11U turned one double play in the game. Green Camp Grizzlies 11U were sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Ezra N had the most chances in the field with four.

Braxtyn B showed a strong eye at the plate on Saturday, as Braxtyn walked three times while leading Green Camp Grizzlies 11U to a 9-1 victory over Athens Sandlot All-Stars 11U.

Green Camp Grizzlies 11U got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Karson F drew a walk, scoring one run, and a steal of home scored one run.

Green Camp Grizzlies 11U added to their early lead in the bottom of the second inning after Luca H singled to center field, Easton P doubled to center field, and Ezra N flew out, each scoring one run.

Easton stepped on the mound first for Green Camp Grizzlies 11U. The starting pitcher gave up three hits and one run over four innings, striking out two and walking two. Octavian M began the game for Athens Sandlot All-Stars 11U. The starting pitcher surrendered one hit and eight runs over two and one-third innings, striking out three and walking eight. Jagger W threw one inning of no-run ball for Green Camp Grizzlies 11U in relief. The hurler gave up one hit, striking out three and walking none.

Easton and Luca each collected one hit for Green Camp Grizzlies 11U. Easton led Green Camp Grizzlies 11U with two runs batted in. The right-handed hitter went 1-for-2 on the day. Braxtyn paced Green Camp Grizzlies 11U with three walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, amassing 11 walks for the game. Easton, Easton A, Luca, Braxtyn, Karson, and Harrison M each stole multiple bases for Green Camp Grizzlies 11U. Green Camp Grizzlies 11U ran wild on the base paths, piling up 25 stolen bases for the game. Green Camp Grizzlies 11U were sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Ezra had the most chances in the field with six.

Tough loss by 1, but these boys still played a great game.

Green Camp Grizzlies 11U stayed in it until the end, but DBC Bombers - Williams 11U pulled away late in a 4-3 victory on Tuesday at 6780 Coffman Rd. DBC Bombers - Williams 11U were down 3-2 in the bottom of the fifth inning when Samuel K doubled, scoring two runs.

Green Camp Grizzlies 11U lost despite out-hitting DBC Bombers - Williams 11U six to five. Ezra N and Braxtyn B each collected two hits for Green Camp Grizzlies 11U.

Green Camp Grizzlies 11U got on the board in the top of the first inning after Braxtyn stole home, and Everett R singled to center field, each scoring one run.

Green Camp Grizzlies 11U added one run in the second. Ezra singled down the right field line, making the score 3-0.

Everett started the game for Green Camp Grizzlies 11U. The pitcher allowed three hits and two runs over three innings, striking out three and walking none. Julian H began the game for DBC Bombers - Williams 11U. The right-handed pitcher allowed six hits and three runs over five and two-thirds innings, striking out five and walking one.
