And finally... the sunset ride! π΄
After emergency trailer repairs with "high-speed twine," missing dogs, surprise horse hunts, moving our entire operation because of the mud, and spending way too much time looking for horses that were apparently at the cabin the whole time... π
We somehow managed to pull it all together just in time for Rick and Lee's sunset ride.
Not only did they help us lead horses down the road, move equipment, groom, tack up, and navigate the chaos, they did it all with smiles on their faces and a great attitude. We kept waiting for them to ask what kind of circus they had signed up for... but they never complained once. π€£
What started as a raffle prize at the gun show turned into a friendship we're truly grateful for. Sometimes the best adventures aren't the ones that go exactly as plannedβthey're the ones where everyone rolls with the punches together.
And as if we didn't already have enough reasons to appreciate them, they left us a gift in the cabin before they headed home. Rick and Lee are talented artists, and they drew the cutest sketch of the outhouse for us. We loved it so much that it now has a permanent spot on display in the kitchen. β€οΈπ¨
Thank you, Rick and Lee, for being such great sports, for embracing the adventure, and for leaving behind a little piece of your creativity for us to enjoy. We're so glad the weekend finally ended the way it was supposed to... with good horses, good people, a beautiful Montana sunset, and memories we'll be talking about for years to come.
Congratulations again on winning the raffle, and thank you for becoming part of The Kinder Cowboy family! π€ π΄
