Today I am honoring and celebrating Lammas, beloved community!

On this holy-day, marking the mid-point between Summer Solstice and Fall Equinox, our ancestors honored and acknowledged the "first harvest" and the giving of the land back to the people, who had lovingly, devotionally tended and nurtured the land prior.

It is a time to turn back towards the beginning of the season/cycle and reflect on what you are now able to harvest from the fruits of your labor and the devotional attention of your heart? It is a day to honor completion and embody the gratitude of a fruitful, abundant harvest OR, for some of us, any harvest at all! Truly, these are dynamic and challenging times!

We are ebbing into the ease of this past potent Aquarius Full Moon, marking again, a time of honoring completion, harvest and embodying receiving.

This is the preparation for the coming New Moon Total Solar Eclipse in the sign of Leo! WE honor FIRST the completion, and then we journey into this seasons Eclipse portal! Eclipses are extraordinarily pressurized portals of evolutionary growth and transformation!

When we enter these portals with intentional commUNITY, and prepare our vessel-body-mind-heart-through practice, breath, attention and sound, we embark on our journey with more grace, more alignment, and greater capacity to meet this intense pressure with COURAGE, curiosity and a spirit ready for its expansion! All these qualities are brilliantly exemplified with the sign of Leo, the Noble and Generous King archetype.

Glorious greetings beloved commUNITY! We've spiraled round through Beltane, once again, celebrating Life, Fertility and the Goddess/God union, all while basking under the deeply intense Scorpio Full Moon last week!

And now, Luna begins to wane, and take her journey inwards, toward the fertile darkness.

Join me, in honoring and attuning with this moonth's Ta**us New Moon, next Friday, May 15th, 6-8pm at Inner Path!

Being a Ta**us sun sign, I ADORE and deLIGHT in Ta**us season! My body reawakens, and my spirit soars on bird song and the magical mystery of flowers opening towards sunlight!

As we do, we will move through a Lunar Earth Elemental Yoga Flow, moving in a mandala style, invoking Lunar Wisdom and a Lunar quality of movement medicine. Moon has been hiding these past few days with the sky spectacularly active, alive with the thunder and lightening gods, reminding us of their place! Behind the flashes and clouds, Moon grows thin, more elusive, and the cycling turns towards the energy and principal of beginning.

Dark Moon draws near, and that which was illuminated becomes shadow, and we are invited inward to our own dark landscape.
This is the first New Moon of the zodiac, arriving through the cardinal Fire sign of Aries 🔥🐏🔥🐏

Fire is upon us! We will need to learn to hold fire in a good way to align with the life-giving, life-sustaining, and life-expanding capacity that lives within and through the elemental expression of Fire!

When humans learned to harness and create fire, our entire evolutionary trajectory changed. Life on this planet was never the same.

And now, at a time when we have witnessed Fire being utilized and co-opted for terrible atrocities that threaten all life on this planet, particularly human life, we are being called to re-align with and encourage the LIFE giving, LIFE sustaining, and LIFE expanding aspects of this most potent element.

Fire lives within us and exists outside of us.
Fire has many aspects, and posses a magic that is almost unequaled in its elemental expression. Sit and watch fire. Use your hands and your breath to create fire and notice the quality and aliveness of the fire. Fire transforms faster and with more intensity and efficiency than any other element. Yet, it is precisely through a devoted relationship to Fire that our ancestors transformed their inner landscape in ways that we are still benefiting from today.

Our ancestors also tended Fire as sacred for ceremony and spiritual purposes and most importantly for our local community, Fire was an intimate and precious ally for tending the land on which we walk now.

Fire is sacred and when held relationally, one of our greatest elemental allies.

I am BLOOMING dear ones!

Soul-many new and precious-to-my-heart-offerings to share with you all...

First to open is "Family Yoga" at Soulspace Collective! I am particularly deLIGHTed to be offering practice for YOU and your little people! And, ALL Kin, ALL family is welcome to participate. We will have two different classes by age.
"Babe's In Arms," is for those with little littles, ages 3-12mo. Babes are worn on the body or held during the practice. This class is offered as a safe, welcoming, playful and family-style community orientated space, to be in the practice of yoga AND family life in community. Classes are offered as a series for a discount or as drop-ins at full price. ALL levels class with no experience needed.

Additionally, I am offering "Babes by Your Side" a family style yoga class where your toddling little one does the practice WITH you! Littles need to be capable of standing and moving fairly well on their own, near you. This delightfully busy and colorfully chaotic space is offered for those deep in family service who long for space to be both in practice and in connection with their family. We will also introduce and explore mindfulness, which is an essential facet of a vital human and beginning at this age, can have a lifetime of positive impact. Maintaining play at our core, with curiosity as our guide, we will embark on a silly, supportive and fun adventure through the practice of yoga.

🌈PLEASE SHARE with any family folk who may be interested and needing space to practice in while honoring this stage of life.

Blossoming April 2nd, 6:30-8pm we launch our initial series of "Body Puzzle" at DMTree Wellness in Auburn. This series aims to "un-lock" the body, piece by piece, to increase range of motion, increase mobility, work to alleviate tension and support the entire mind-body connection while un-locking the breath as the foundation of it all. This is a semi-private opportunity for those who are new to yoga, working through chronic tension or stiffness, returning to a practice after injury, or any one who sits in front of a screen or at a desk or in their car daily!! I will offer modifications, alignment invitations and hands-on assistance to support you in deepening your experience and connection with your body and mind. Each class will follow a similar arc, except different parts of the body will be featured and explored each class. The main arc however, includes
✨Centering/Locating Physical, Mental, Emotional sensation
✨Grounding
✨Breathwork (Cultivating the Diaphragm)
✨Asana-Beginner Level with a therapeutic overall perspective
✨Pranayama
✨Savasana with Yoga Nidra

We journey for 9 Thursday's together, un-locking piece by piece, and re-connecting the "Processor"(brain/mind) with the "Mainframe" (physical body/nervous system).

9 Is the number of completion. 3 sets of 3 and 3 represents the Holy Trinity (which has many expressions, including Mind, Body, Spirit) Are you complete with chronic tension and holding? In this new spaciousness we are now invited to Trust. Much has been released, willingly or not, and we have arrived in unfamiliar territory with no external map. The map lives within each of us, manifest as intuition, discernment and trust. The storm approaches and New Moon arrives very soon!

We are shedding the final skins of past and feeling the deepening pulse, the hoof beats of the approaching Fire Horse!

I have been extraordinarily uncomfortable this weekend.
I have been held in gentle loving presence.
I have cried. I have laughed. I have danced until I was pouring sweat.
This final period of letting go, of particularly old stagnate emotion, while riding quite the wave of expansion and contraction these past 72 hours has delivered me to the threshold of the end of one cycle and the beginning of the next.

I feel time speeding up as we walk towards the first eclipse of the year, a total annular eclipse, ushering us through the portal of shadow work, and tending any lingering debris in the shadows, before we exit the portal on full moon with the partial lunar eclipse, and truly begin a wildly creative, passionate and unprecedented new cycle!

Greetings commUNITY!

This moonth's New Moon ushers in an extraordinarily powerful portal time! The Aquarius New Moon is the entry point for the coming Eclipse Portal, the beginning of the Fire Horse Year AND Lunar Imbolc-the cross-quarter holy-day that marks the initial return of Springs promise of Light!

There are soul many cosmic and earthly invitations all weaving together during this wildly powerful new moon cycle.
Gathering with commUNITY at this time is critical and a radical act of defiance in the face of the "story" of manufactured separation and intentional division.

We need spaces and practices to support us in re-membering our innate Wholeness, re-enacting our birthright of Vitality and helping us to re-align with personal and communal Integrity.
