Another BIG WIN last night for these awesome kids! After starting out slow and being down 7-0 in the first inning these kids didn’t give up, instead they rallied around each other and came back to win 16-12! Game after game they just keep getting better! They keep getting closer to each other and have become the team we knew they could be! I really didn’t want to mention any names because they ALL played so well but my gosh Evan Darden did it again! This kid ONCE AGAIN crushed a ball so far I actually thought the outfielders were gonna just give up on chasing it 😳🤣🤣 a 3 run HOMERUN, then proceeded to tack on 2 more RBIs in the next at bat…then came in to pitch and shut them down! I could go on and on about all of them, this is a team sport and playing together is how this team is learning to compete and win games! They’ve now won two in a row and the playoffs are less than two weeks away! SUPER PROUD of these kids! We absolutely love watching them learn together, bond together, and grow as a team! After 3 rained out tournaments, it’s looking like they might finally get to play in their first one this weekend! 🤞GO MAMBAS!!!!!

Wow!!! So PROUD of our boys tonight!! A big 13-3 victory and total and full team effort! We have been talking all season how this young team is coming together and becoming a team and it showed tonight! This is just the beginning for this team, when they play together as brothers anything is possible! To say we’re 3 proud coaches is an EXTREME understatement!! Can’t wait for our first tournament together this weekend! GO MAMBAS!!!!

Winning isn’t always about the score, sometimes it’s about seeing a young team with new faces (many playing baseball for the first time)coming together and not giving up! We watched our boys last night take an early lead and then once they gave it up, fight to stay in the game leaning on each other! With the exception of one inning that inflated the score these kids fought tooth and nail with a very good team! At one point our pitcher started a meeting(on the mound) with every other teammate on the field and they came up with a game plan to stay in the game! We were shocked but extremely proud! We’ve been spoiled having some very good competitive teams these past 3/4 years even starting last season 7-2 and playing for 1st place but we lost some players that decided to move on and added 4 players that never played organized baseball in their lives and I’ve gotta say in many ways this is way more rewarding ! Recreational Baseball is exactly that, for recreation! It’s to learn the game, have FUN, and make friendships that could very well last a lifetime! Two games in and plenty to go, gonna be a fun season watching this team get better with each game, we’re also playing in two tournaments this month which we’ve never done before so gonna be a blast! Super proud of these kiddos, GO MAMBAS!!!

Baseball is back Mamba Nation!! Gotta say losing stinks but this one didn’t hurt as bad because of how proud we are of this team and how they didn’t give up when down big and kept fighting till the end! Let’s start off by welcoming 4 of our boys that played their first ever organized game of baseball! Cortez in a little over a month of practice has already become an important part of our defense! Bryson(aka Buffalo) is already playing like he’s been playing for years! Logan is just a natural, he proves big things come in small packages & Spencer played very well and hit the ball hard tonight! Now on to our most improved from last year, Alex! Wow, this kid is a completely different player from last year! He’s already earned the starting short stop job and came in to pitch when we needed relief and did very well especially considering he’s had very little practice! Super proud of that kiddo! And YES the E-man himself Evan Darden hit one to the moon AGAIN tonight (this time batting from the right side) and he was already posing on third when they finally caught up to the ball 👀👀 then when we needed the bleeding to stop, Evan came in and shut them down from the mound like usual for several innings! Kyler (one of the originals from 4 years ago) our starting 2nd baseman had a big hit tonight and played well on defense! Another original JJ who can play anywhere and is now cemented at 1st base had another good game! My own boy Silas started the game pitching well only to leave early after getting overheated but later returned to play SS and then finished providing excellent defense at catcher the last couple innings when we held them scoreless while we crept back into the game! We can’t talk about any game without mentioning Mr Personality himself Owen 😜our 2nd year catcher! Almost 40% of our team tonight was playing their first game and these kids just wouldn’t give up! We trailed 14-2 after two innings and chipped away with 8 unanswered runs to finish 14-10! We can’t possibly ask for anymore than that from these boys and I have truly never seen a group of kids that loves their teammates and the sport of baseball so much! When one is down the others are there to pick them up! I guess I’ve said too much but just super proud coaches tonight! Even being the youngest team in the league by a long shot, I expect big things from this bunch this year! AGAIN extremely proud of these kids! I hope you all have a good night and see y’all soon!
