Herd finished up a great summer season this weekend in Waxahachie placing 3rd place overall. It didn’t quite end how we hoped but we are proud regardless. We love each and every one of these boys and wish them all the success as they continue their baseball careers. Grandview boys are something special and let’s show ‘em!

Our final tournament in Waxahachie! 💙⚾

This weekend is one we'll never forget. It's our last tournament together as the Herd and our final Coach Pitch tournament before these boys begin a new chapter.

Some of these boys have been teammates since they were just 5 years old. They've grown up together on the ball field—celebrating big wins, learning from tough losses, making memories, and building friendships that go far beyond baseball.

We started the weekend with a 17-5 win, and we couldn't be prouder of the way these boys played together.

Tomorrow we head back to Waxahachie , hoping to keep this run going. But no matter what happens, this team has already won in so many ways. While some of these boys will be heading to different teams next season, they'll always share the memories, laughs, and bond they built. The Herd 8U finished the weekend 3-1 and brought home 3rd Place up in Mesquite! 🥉⚾

Every single one of these boys made big plays and competed their hearts out. We had a few mental mistakes that cost us at times, but we'll learn from them and keep growing.

More than a team, we're a family, and we're proud of every player who wears The Herd jersey. A huge thank you to our families, fans, and especially our sponsors for supporting these boys all season. We couldn't do it without you!
