Teens ages 12–16, join us at the Litehouse Family YMCA for a high-energy Glow Party you won’t want to miss. We’re turning down the lights and turning up the fun with blacklights, music, glow gear, and pizza.

When we built the Mary Free Bed YMCA, it was intentionally designed to be a safe place for everyone.

Today, we are proud to be one of the host sites for The Hartford Nationals, the largest adaptive sport championship in the U.S. In collaboration with the West Michigan Sports Commission, we are looking for volunteers. More information is provided by WMSC.

The Hartford Nationals isn’t possible without volunteers like you!
Some of our open volunteer roles include setting up, assisting with registration, Golf cart shuttle drivers, greeters, scorekeepers and so many more! There is something for everyone.

We're recognizing three members of our team today.

George Figures is our custodial director. He is a true example of commitment, hard work, and excellence. George helps keep our branches safe and clean for everyone. Congratulations on 26 years!

Heather Walczewski is committed to the families, staff, and community. She helps manage all of our childcare facilities and answer any questions you have. Over 21 years, she's built a wealth of knowledge and is invaluable to our team.

Danielle Vincent has spent over 29,000 hours supporting you, your kids, and your family. She started as a teacher, became the director of Generations Child Development Center, and 14 years later, she is our regional childcare director.

Thank you for everything you do, George, Heather, and Danielle!

Thanks to THE PLAYGROUNDgr, we learned so much about play-based therapy strategies. More than 100 of our day camp staff received training to inform the way they lead in camps and community settings.
