BAM Plugs

Due to a death in the family, we will be suspending operation likely for the remainder of the season. Those that have reached out for replacements from last seasons stock, blanks are made, they just need to be painted.

I'm hoping to get a small batch of 3in done as well, but I can't promise that at this time.

Over the past few years it's been apparent that I have arthritis in both my hands. Over the last year and half painting it's gotten progressively worse. I took a break painting this summer and haven't been in nearly as much pain and it's lead me to start making some decisions on the direction of BAM Plugs.

1. I keep painting and destroy my hands.

2. I paint here and there, and release stuff as it gets done.

3. I switch from a product sales point to manufacture and sell blanks.

Don't take this the wrong way, I still want to paint. I've been looking into spoons and a few other things.

For now I think its wise to just continue to do custom orders and repaints. My blanks will likely be on the way, I'll likely offer the regular plug and Cut plug style. I'll leave the BamPlug, thin Swim, and hot bait for limited release.

If we sell the plugs, they'll be ready to accept paint/primer, likely won't come with a hook harness.

I still plan to develop plugs and other lures, It's honestly what I enjoy the most. Let me know what you all think.

TLDR:

Single hooks becoming standard

Spoons, flies, new models coming

Starting next year we will be moving to single hooks instead of treble hooks. We will likely still offer them as an add on, but development with our products going forward will be for single hooks.

Spoons will be here next year.

Flies will be here next year.

Our glow material from last year went bad, so unless someone asks in an order for it, we will only have soft glow when available. We plan to order a full skid of glow material this winter with the right properties so it lasts.

The Kraken will likely get released when we launch Flies, I am still continuing to make modifications.

The original Bam Plug will return next year unless askes for.

The original ThinPlug is phased out.

We have been working on 2 other new plug designs, 1 is original and 1 is a rework of defunct style.

Paddle Flashers are not in the works and if they do get added it will be 2-3 years from now. I'd really like to bring back metal dodgers, so that is more of a focus as they really work well with plugs.

While sales have been down this year we're still moving forward, still poking at new ideas and products.
