Grand Ledge Summer Youth Cross Country Camp

Lace up your sneakers and join the Grand Ledge High School Cross Country runners for the Youth Comet Running Camp at Fitzgerald Park! Dive into the world of running, enhance your skills, and make lasting friendships in this dynamic camp designed for young runners. Led by experienced high school runners, Comet Cross Country alumni, and the High School coaching staff, participants will enjoy the scenic park, expert coaching, and a fun-filled atmosphere. We will focus on training fundamentals, warm-up and cool-down principles, nutrition, mental skills, and play lots of fun games! A nutritious snack will be provided each day to participants.

Participants will be sorted into teams, each coached by current Comet Athletes, and at the end of the week parents will be invited to watch these teams go head-to-head in a time trial! Whether you’re a beginner or seasoned runner, this camp promises a week of fitness, camaraderie, and outdoor adventure.

Camp Details: July 13 - 16, 2026 (Mon-Thur) 9:00 - 11:30am at Fitzgerald Park

Registration Deadline - July 7, 2026

Late Registrations - will be accepted online until July 12th (T-Shirt Not Guaranteed After 7/7)

Day Of (Onsite) Registrations - will be charged a $10 late fee (T-Shirt Not Guaranteed)

Boys finished in 11th, with all state performances by Jackson Shaltry and the 4x100 relay of Griffin Hamilton, Levi Yeah Jr., Anthony Baker, and Kingston Nixon.
