It is the goal of GVYF to instill life-long values of teamwork, dedication, and superior work ethic in the classroom and on the playing field.

ct football activities to the children ages 4-14 of the Grand Valley. The developmental programs will teach sports fundamentals, good sportsmanship, character, discipline, competitiveness and teamwork in a positive, caring and safe environment. GVYF strives to ensure that all players are given the opportunity to compete and encourages participants to maintain high scholastic grades in school and to develop a compassionate attitude.

Good Morning Teams and Parents
Welcome to week 3 of the 2026 season
I hope you all are safe and enjoying yourselves.
I just want to throw out a small reminder that at the beginning of each week the 8 a m games home teams on each field are responsible for setting up the fields and the final games of the day the visiting teams are responsible for taking them down and help putting all away... We will giving all the teams their pic packets . We appreciate each and every one of you . Good Luck in your games and have a great safe holiday....

Good Afternoon Parents and Coaches,

We have just been notified by the City of Grand Junction Parks & Recreation Department that Canyon View Park has been closed for the remainder of the day due to the recent rainstorm and field conditions.

As a result, all Grand Valley Youth Football games scheduled for this evening, Wednesday, September 2nd, are canceled. Unfortunately, this decision is outside of GVYF’s control.

We are currently reviewing options for rescheduling tonight’s games and will communicate additional information as soon as plans are finalized.

We understand that cancellations can be frustrating, especially with the amount of time and preparation that goes into game days. We greatly appreciate your patience, understanding, and flexibility as we work through the situation.
