Reminder! Our Open Practice/Tryouts for our 1st Year and 2nd Year 10U teams will take place again this coming Sunday June 14th.
This is a great opportunity to come out, meet our coaches, and see what NC/VA Fusion Athletics is all about.

This past Sunday, our older girls had the opportunity to train and learn from Elon University softball player Greta Hessenthaler. She led them through some of the same drills and training concepts used at the college level while sharing insight, instruction, and tips to help them continue growing as softball players.

What made the day even more meaningful was the time she spent afterward speaking with both the girls and their families. She shared her personal recruiting journey, talked about the importance of setting goals, and offered perspective on what to consider as these athletes continue getting older and begin thinking about their own paths in the game.

Experiences like this go beyond skill development, they help young athletes see what’s possible and provide valuable lessons that can carry far beyond the field. We’re grateful for the time, knowledge, and encouragement she shared with our girls. 🥎

Please join us in welcoming Coach Tatiana MacAneney to our organization as she will be joining our 8U team.

We are excited to have Coach Tatiana share her knowledge, experience, and passion with our young athletes as they continue to develop both on and off the field.

Her addition reflects our continued commitment to creating more opportunities for young athletes while providing an environment where they can learn, grow, compete, and build a lasting passion for the game.

Coach Tatiana’s experience and enthusiasm make her an outstanding addition to our organization, and we look forward to the positive impact she will have on our players and families.

A familiar face will be leading our Fusion Athletics 8U team this fall.

We’re excited to share that Brandon Mahon will step into the Head Coach role for Fusion Athletics 8U. Brandon has served as an Assistant Coach with our current 8U team and has played a key role in helping build the foundation as this group prepares to move up to 10U.

Our 10U squad is headed to Level Cross, NC this weekend for the Perfect Game SEC Softball Body Armor State Games!

These girls have come so far this season and continue to improve every single time they step on the field. The growth, hard work, and determination they’ve shown has been fun to watch.

This weekend, play with confidence, play with heart, trust your teammates, and most importantly, have fun and enjoy these moments.
