When you are a racecar driver, that doesn’t mean you’re just in a car when you’re racing. It means you visit the local tracks, you hang out, you help out, you stay in racing.  Yesterday, Driver Jet was able to mentor a new Driver, while her little buddy Austin drove the new driver‘s car to help get it dialed in. Racing is a family, and it’s great to see that there are still families out there helping. If you’re not in your race car, you are at a race track somewhere contributing to the racing world.

It’s been a hard reality for driver Jet due to breakthrough seizures after 5 years of being seizure free. She cannot race at this time, instead focusing on giving back to the up and coming racers in quarter midgets. If you can’t race, you can still be around racing. This is how you stay sane and stay in tune. She’s going to be working with a racing team on weekends (absolutely loves her lil buddy Austin). Today she’s learning flagging for day 1 of Novice training.
