We love coach Kiah 🤩
✨ Senior Spotlight: Kiah Coffman ✨
Kiah Coffman is a senior at Grafton High School, and her skating journey is one filled with dedication, growth, and heart 🧡. She first stepped onto the ice at just six years old through the Grafton Parks and Recreation Learn to Skate program, where she quickly discovered a passion that would shape her youth. Kiah continued in Learn to Skate through the spring of 2019, while also participating in the Border Blades Bridge Program for two years, gaining confidence and sharpening her skills along the way. In the fall of 2019, she advanced into the private advanced skating program, where her love for the sport truly flourished.
Beyond figure skating, Kiah has been deeply involved in her community 🎉. She has been a member of the Grafton Park River Hockey cheerleading team for four years and proudly serves as co-captain this year 📣. Her leadership, enthusiasm, and team spirit have made a lasting impact both on and off the ice.
In the fall of 2020, Kiah took on a new role as a Learn to Skate coach 👧🧒. Coaching has become one of her favorite parts of skating, as she loves watching young skaters discover the joy of the sport—just like she once did. Seeing their excitement and growth each season has been incredibly rewarding for her.
Kiah would like to extend a huge thank-you to all of the coaches who have guided her since the very beginning, her fellow skaters who helped create unforgettable memories, and her parents for their constant love, encouragement, and support 🙏.
After graduation, Kiah plans to attend Mayville State University, where she will pursue a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education 🎓🍎. With her passion for teaching and caring for others, her future is as bright as her smile on the ice! ✨⛸️
