2025 has been a busy year for my family, with challenges that have kept me from giving this page the attention it desperately needs. Be on the lookout for free virtual classes and information to schedule one on one sessions!

I feel it’s time to get this page running, and what better way than to talk safety!

I will be the first to admit, fi****ms terrified me nearly 9 years ago! At the urging of my now husband, nervously I allowed him and his best friend to teach me how to shoot. They took the time to walk me through safety items before even thinking about placing a firearm in my hands. While definitely not in a uniform format, they touched on every point.

1. Treat ALL fire arms as if they are always loaded.
* Even if the person handing you the firearm states it’s unloaded, verify for yourself and continue to treat the firearm as if it is loaded after clearing yourself.
2. NEVER point a firearm at anything you’re not willing to destroy
3. ALWAYS keep your finger off the trigger until you are ready to fire
4. KNOW your target and what is behind it.
* where is that round going if you miss your target? (It happens!)

Hey y’all! I’m Amanda, a thirty something 😉 year old who is passionate about women’s safety and fi****ms! Over the next few weeks I’ll be posting safety tips and offering classes on Concealed Carry and Home Defense as well as basic pistol. I’d love to see you either virtually on a FREE mini class or in person for hands on learning!
