We hear this one a lot.

“Wait... aren’t they a little too young to be on the trails?”

Not when they’re surrounded by experienced coaches, riding age-appropriate terrain, and building skills one step at a time.

At GBX, we meet riders where they are. The goal isn’t to send them down the biggest trail. It’s to help them build confidence, learn safely, and discover just how capable they are.

So... are they too young?

Never.

They’re about cheering for teammates, trying something that feels hard, celebrating personal bests, and watching riders encourage each other every step of the way.

We’re proud of every GBX PLUS rider who showed up, gave it their best, and represented our community so well.

There comes a point where you stop holding on quite so tightly.

You trust the skills they’ve built.
You trust the confidence they’ve earned.
And you watch them do what they came here to do.

Then we said...
“Let ‘em fly.” 🚲💚

Because sometimes the best thing you can do is cheer from the sidelines while they discover what they’re capable of.

Every child deserves the chance to experience the outdoors.

To discover a new trail. To build confidence one ride at a time. To make friends, try something challenging, and find joy in being outside.

At GBX, we’re committed to making those experiences possible for as many kids as we can, because every rider deserves a place to belong.

Children are often far more capable than we give them credit for.
When they’re given the space to try, to fail, to problem solve, and to try again, amazing things can happen.

At GBX, we see it every season. Riders who were nervous become confident. Obstacles that once felt impossible become part of the ride. What starts as uncertainty slowly turns into capability.

Sometimes the most important thing we can do is step back, offer support, and let kids discover what they’re capable of for themselves.

One day they’ll be nostalgic for this.

The long rides.
The dirty bikes.
The inside jokes.
The friends they couldn’t wait to see.
The summer evenings that seemed like they would last forever.

Right now, it’s just another ride.
One day, it’ll be a memory they’ll wish they could revisit.
So let them ride.
