Our Developmental Philosophy focuses on:



A systematic process for the development of fishing skills and knowledge
A FUN learning environment to ensure enjoyment
A structure where children and adults can participate regardless of skills or knowledge of fishing
A structure that builds family, friendships and a sense of teamwork through the sport of fishing

FISH. This is being done through the development of a competitive fishing league and team structure administered by local volunteers in communities. lays the groundwork so individual kids and families can have continuous opportunities to participate in fishing activities for of a period of 5-7 years. American Angler Leagues, Inc. provides platform that supports and develops grassroots youth fishing programs. To participate in an American Anglers affiliated youth program, anglers must be members of American Angler Leagues, Inc. Members of AAL will be entitled to many benefits, including:

Participation in youth fishing programs that provide structured competition, education, and an opportunities for parents to participate along with their kids
Recognition for participation and completing fishing educational programs
American Angler Leagues youth fishing program official rules and patented catch-and-release point based scoring
Youth fishing age specific educational curriculum
Access to special offers and discounts on a wide array of products and services associated with the fishing industry and other corporate partners
Qualification to local, state, regional and national American Angler Leagues tournaments and events
Access to subject matter experts, speakers and seminars hosted by American Angler Leagues
AAL youth fishing news, standings, and updates via regional newsletters

In case you missed it, the apparel store is open with a ton of great options. The store will be open through June 19th for the first round of orders. As long as the supply chain cooperates, your orders will arrive in time for the season kick-off. Orders will be shipped directly to you this year.

We will re-open the store for a last-chance opportunity after June 19th and plan to close the store during the first week of fishing. Details to follow but this second round of orders will arrive in the season.

Persistence pays off big for Connor Loop! Connor and teammate Brady Sherck spent the past 2 seasons using exclusively fly rods. They are also now both part of a very exclusive group of anglers who have successfully landed a muskie on a fly rod. Seriously impressive! Great catch, Connor!
