Congratulations to Aiden Bartholomew for his 1st place finish today at the War Dogs event! Bart hasn’t stopped training since the season ended and all of his hard work is paying off.

A new club to train at opens up June 1st in Beverly. North Shore Titans Wrestling being run by Coach Dylan Kruger. This is for beginners to elite levels youth and high school so if you want to learn or stay sharp for next season, this is the place to do it!

Best of luck to Joe Amero, Aiden DeCoste, Joe Allen and Max Thomas competing in the NHSCA Nationals this weekend. Weigh ins this afternoon and wrestling starts Friday morning for Freshmen and Sophomores, Friday afternoon for Juniors and Seniors. Micah McGrath from Gloucester will also be competing in the middle school division. We are also pulling for Bryant Mason (even though he is a St. John’s guy we still like his father). I will try to post updates throughout the weekend!

4 Fishermen finish the season in the top 25 rankings across Massachusetts. Congratulations on a great season Jayden Chadwick, Aiden DeCoste, Joe Allen and Max Thomas.

This season was a full team effort and with 11 guys currently wrestling in the off season next year could be even better.

High School Nationals are less than 2 weeks away! Be on the look out for updates about Joe Amero, Aiden DeCoste, Joe Allen and Max Thomas.

Junior Max Thomas officially closed out the season for GHS Wrestling today going 2-2 against 24 of the best 215 lb wrestlers in New England. The long 6-7 day per week grind is now over and it’s time to close the book on an amazing season.

Be on the lookout for updates the end of the month as Joe Amero, Aiden DeCoste, Joe Allen and Max Thomas travel to Virginia Beach to compete in the 61st NHSCA Nationals! Max is focused on becoming a 2 time All American this year

Congratulations to Junior Max Thomas on placing 4th at All-States. Max went 3-2 over the 2 days with his losses coming from Matt Harold (All-State Champ) and Owen Pavao (Division 2 State Champ). With his placement Max has earned a spot in the New England tournament next weekend in Providence Rhode Island.

GHS had 3 others qualify for All-States. Junior Jayden Chadwick was unable to compete due to a shoulder injury that he fought through all post season.

Junior Aiden DeCoste fought hard in a very difficult 138lb bracket but was knocked out at the end of day 1.

Senior Joe Allen was injured in his first match and ultimately had to medical forfeit from the tournament .
