Trunk or treat before Speedfest at Langley yesterday. Dallas, once again, chose to wear his fire suit and helmet as his costume. We call this the cheapest, most expensive Halloween costume ever. Thanks to everyone who set up for the kids, especially Brandy Marshall who makes this night a huge success each year. 🏁🎃🍭🍬

Our UCAR champ for the 2026 season got to make the trip to Victory Lane last night, even though our last races got rained out. Congrats to Mikey Chinn!

🏁Dixieland Speedway Sport Compact 10/23/26🏁

Last night we headed to North Carolina for the final dirt race of the season at Dixieland. This was Steve’s first time taking this car out on dirt. Last season he was still in the Saturn when we raced here. He qualified P9. There were some setup issues, but mainly just some things to learn.

For the feature event, Steve started P9 and ended P8. He kept it headed in the right direction and made the pass to 8 later in the race. His driving looked great but needed more speed. We know what to do differently next time. Unfortunately this closed out the season for this track so we’ll have to wait until the spring to give it another try.

The track also did a kids ride around the track with their favorite driver. Steve took Dallas, Jase, Ashley and Harper out for the event.

Thank you to everyone who came out to help in the pits and cheer from the stands. Nights at Dixieland always leave us wanting more and missing our dirt track right up the road. We’ll be back for more ext season.

That’s a wrap for the race season, but the cars still have a few trunk or treats and shows to get to. It never truly ends.
