To Little League International, the Southwest Region Administration, and the Oklahoma District Administration:
You owe an apology.
Not to Deer Creek Little League.
Not to the adults who fought to protect the integrity of the game.
You owe an apology to every child and every family whose Little League dreams were forever altered because your organizations failed to do what you were entrusted to do.
Last year, overwhelming evidence was presented that Team Oklahoma was participating in the Little League Softball World Series in violation of Little League regulations. Detailed protests, documentation, residency evidence, roster evidence, even texts from the parents of the players stating they knew what they were doing and repeated requests for investigation were placed before you. Those concerns were dismissed, minimized, or ignored.
This year, the exact same organization, the exact same roster construction, many of the exact same players, and the exact same rule violations resulted in that team being disqualified.
That fact cannot be explained away.
The evidence you refused to act upon in 2025 became the evidence that justified disqualification in 2026.
If the rules were worthy of enforcement this year, then they were worthy of enforcement last year.
The consequences of your failure cannot be undone.
You cannot return the World Series opportunity taken from eligible players.
You cannot give back the state and regional championships that should have belonged to children who followed the rules.
You cannot restore memories that were stolen, photographs that were never taken, championships that were never played for, recognition that may never come, or the trust thousands of families placed in Little League to provide a fair and honest competition.
These are not administrative errors.
These are life-changing moments in the lives of children.
Little League often reminds families that its mission is to build character, courage, and loyalty. Yet when faced with credible evidence of repeated eligibility violations, your leadership failed to demonstrate those very principles. Instead of protecting children who earned their place through the rules, you protected a process that ultimately proved to be deeply flawed.
The damage is irreparable.
Children lost opportunities they will never get back because adults with the authority to act chose not to act.
An apology will not erase what happened, but silence only deepens the injustice.
Today, there is no longer any credible argument that the concerns raised in 2025 were unfounded. Your own actions in 2026 acknowledge that those concerns deserved enforcement.
That is why we call upon Little League International, the Southwest Region Administration, and the Oklahoma District Administration to publicly acknowledge your failure, apologize to every child and family affected by your inaction, and commit to meaningful reforms starting with the removal of the Oklahoma District Administrator, Mindy Abbott and TNLL Charter Revocation so that no other young athlete is ever denied a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity because those charged with protecting the integrity of the game failed to do so.
The rules did not change.
The evidence did not change.
The victims did not change.
Only your willingness to enforce the rules did.
The children deserved better. They still do.
